We enjoyed our visit to The White Hart, the staff made us very welcome. However, we only wanted a continental breakfast and the choice was limited. Good choice of cereal but no fresh fruit which was disappointing and poor choice of fruit juice, minimal pastries. An old toaster which wasn’t very efficient. In the bar the machine for making hot chocolate or cappuccino coffee or latte wasn’t working, this has happened on a previous visit and the cakes available were somewhat tired. Having said that the atmosphere in the hotel is good. Being a hotel of mature years, there are areas which require some attention. We would go again. The White Hart is a great asset to the town of Boston and fulfils an important role for the local community and visitors.

Everyone I interacted with was polite, friendly, and genuinely helpful, which made such a long stay feel comfortable and welcoming. Two team members in particular really stood out. Jilly on reception was an absolute bundle of joy every morning—her warmth and energy set a positive tone for the day and made me feel right at home. Laura was also wonderful; always present, always smiling, and consistently happy to help with anything I needed. They both deserve a big thumbs up for their outstanding hospitality. Breakfast each day was great, with plenty of choice and consistently good quality. I also had the lovely surprise of receiving a free two-course meal after registering on the hotel’s website, as it happened to be my birthday—such a thoughtful touch that really made my stay feel special. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and am already looking forward to returning in the next few months. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the White hart was lovely, The room was nice and cosy. The staff very friendly and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed it. If we were ever back in this area we would certainly return to this hotel. :-)

If you can find the carpark let me know. Ending up having to shove it in an NCP. Couldn’t get hold of staff at reception to ask as it kept going to answerphone. Not the best first impression

Central location for the town and The Stump. One of the Faux Leather arm chairs had rips in the leather on both the seat and left hand arm. One of the bath towels had a number of holes in it. No bottled water in the room on arrival to go with the two glasses provided. Shower head needed a good clean and black mould evident around the bath seal in corner. Hot water was far too hot could be dangerous if not aware. Bar staff were very friendly and gave good service

It was a pleasure to stay at the White Hart. The staff were attentive and went above and beyond to be helpful. We had coffees and also a lunch, whilst staying there. Both were excellent and not over-priced. The hotel is old but oozes old-world charm. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is right in the centre of town. The hotel is by the river (the Witham, maybe?) with the magnificent Boston Stump (St Botolph's Church Tower) across the river. Being old, the hotel layout is 'interesting' but characterful. It was quite a fair walk to our room, back and forth and up several sets of stairs but the room was clean and modern, as was the bathroom. We would definitely consider staying there again.

Excellent interior condition apart from bedroom window and rear exterior on 1st floor overlooking car park which were in extremely poor condition. No aircon in room on a very hot night where the fan provided had little effect. Food and service were excellent. However will be returning on our next visit to South Lincolnshire.

Great hotel in a very convenient location! All the staff were super friendly, especially the waitresses at the bar and restaurant—they were attentive and kind throughout our stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast had plenty of great options to choose from. My room was comfortable, and the bed was just what I needed for a good night's sleep. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning, which made the room a bit warm at times. Still, everything else was excellent—from the service to the amenities. Would definitely recommend!

Was like a maze to get to my room, but the signs got me there. I understand the building is old, but the floor boards in my room were so loud & creeky that i worried i would disturb other customers beneath me. Staff was very friendly & welcoming. They let me store my suitcase with them while i went to a funeral, it was no problem for them at all & the lady on the desk was very sweet & kind ☺

I was underwhelmed by the quality of the hotel. It felt like somewhere which had been very good but was now being left to get worse. Some of the staff were helpful but others were a bit dismissive. My double room it was very difficult to get round the bed to get to the bathroom and I had to be moved into this room because the door handle fell off in the previous room

Such a beautiful river side hotel with a lovely little court yard as well as a bar, restaurant and coffee shop . Great choice of comfy seating either inside or on the out door terrace by the side of the river in a lovely setting with a view of the beautiful church which unfortunately wasnt open.We had breakfast and dinner which were excellent and reasonably priced too. Lovely comfy clean and spacious room with complimentary tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits.The only downside: our room was at the back and due to the very warm weather we left our window open. Unfortunately we could hear the noise of the local night club making it very difficult to sleep . Although if the window had been closed it probably woudnt have been as bad. The areas surrounding dont do the hotel justice as it has seen better days with a lot of either empty or derelict shops/ buildings which is such a shame.

On check in there was no one on reception and had to go looking for staff. Car park is a little tricky to find but you finally end up at the back of the hotel. Booked a table for 7pm and they drinks order taken at 7.20, food turned up which was ok. Comfortable room but a constant noise from cars in the town. Prefer their other hotel in Horncastle.

Lovely, historic hotel with a great bar an restaurant area. The food in the restaurant is of a very high quality. Staff were friendly and helpful in general, although a couple of the younger bar staff not quite as much as the more mature staff. The room was nicely decorated and well appointed, although the bathroom was a little "tired", but was clean and well stocked. Good selection of tea/coffee options and snacks in the room, with more available from reception at any time. The hotel is perfectly located in central Boston and handy for all main attractions/shops etc. Would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again.

Nice hotel in central area of Boston, with convenient parking and very good staff area around hotel is a little run down, but lots to see and do in Boston. Would recommend getting a local guide of town centre to enable you to appreciate the history of the town.

Stay fine. Rooms a bit of a warren of corridors but well signposted. Beds comfortable. Double glazing reasonably sound proof except for revving engines - it was Friday night! All clean. Nice variety of breakfast food. We had to ask for hot milk to add to strong coffee - we were served it willingly but it involved the waiter going elsewhere to get it.
