    We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Downtown/River North for the Chicago Marathon, and it was an excellent base. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and spacious enough to prepare for race day. Its location is unbeatable—surrounded by great dining options and just steps from convenient bus and train stations, making navigating the city effortless. Grant Park was a very manageable one-mile walk away on race morning. The only minor downside is the street noise, which is expected given its central location. Overall, a clean, convenient, and runner-friendly choice. We would definitely stay here again!

    We had a great time when staying in. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned perfectly. Near to the Grant Park so walking back after finished the Marathon still doable.
