My daughter and my grandson only stay here when we come to Chicago . We love your hotel and the rooms they are so nice that we feel safe and secure here and so we stay here always . We come here to see our concerts of twenty one pilots and balu bridaga .

Quiet room and all adults! Loved the bar vibe in the lobby and the funky touches throughout.

The property and room were clearly in need of some maintenance. Electrical outlet falling out of the wall. Shower area had mold.

Amazing location, quiet room, vvv comfy bed, handy having a fridge and lovely staff. I stayed for the marathon and it’s literally walking distance of a couple of stops from the start/finish line in Grant Park too

Amazing room, great location, very nice hotel!

One of the staff i had in the morning was straight out a rude person. She should not work in the hospitality industry. Another one was just very emotionless, but that is kinda fine. She was knowledgeable. The first person she was nice tho.

Nice, clean hotel, close to main attractions

The hotel is very clean and conveniently located near the main attractions. I usually took Uber to get around since it’s an affordable option in Chicago. The staff is extremely friendly, and the hotel bar is excellent (A+). However, I wouldn’t recommend the café—it’s overpriced, especially considering that you can find amazing coffee just a block away at Eataly.

I found the café on the premises to be quite expensive, with limited breakfast options—especially inconvenient if you’re in a hurry

Decent hotel in a great location.

For the value and the location, it seemed that the hotel was worth it. It wasn't in the best shape, but my room was very clean and in decent shape. Also, the bar downstairs was great. Quiet, but up beat, a great place to go to catch up with friends. It also had a great selection. I have a serious bug phobia and didn't see any during my stay.

It could have been in better shape, but for the cost at that location it seemed to be a very reasonable compromise. I stayed for a conference, so I was pretty much there to just sleep and it was worth it for that.

I've stayed there before and it was better than this time. The location is good and some of the staff were helpful. The shower is good. Having a good bar at the property is also nice.

Room: The room had 2 windows, but was very dark. One window overlooked a parking garage and the other overlooked a small area surrounded by 4 buildings, so it, too, was dark. The lighting in the room wasn't bright, which made doing make-up difficult. The beds were too firm and there was no counter space in the bathroom. The room wasn't very clean as there was debris on the rug and in the bathroom. Staff: While some staff were helpful, others seemed to have an attitude. The times that something went wrong - the elevator broke and our keys wouldn't work - there was no apology from anyone when we spoke with the front desk.

Air conditioning was erratic and messed with our sleep. Reserved city view room but got transferred to a room with a view of a cinder block wall.

Rooms were very small and looked quite tired. Was quite a noisy location Lots of drinks on the Bar Menu weren't actually available Pictures make it look a lot better than it actually is - decidedly underwhelming.

No major complaints, just not quite as nice as I expected for the price.

The location was great. The aesthetic was cool. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bar was nice.

The front desk staff seemed not very happy with their jobs. There was no coffee maker in the room. (Or hand lotion, which is just a personal pet peeve!) The bakery had limited hours, a limited menu, and only one person working there, so it took a long time to order when there was a line. The business center was a computer at the bottom of the stairs in the basement. Overall, it was a fine hotel, but I'm not sure it was a nice as the price suggested. On Booking, the price for this one and the Marriott across the street were the same for the weekend I was there, and from the looks of it, the Marriott would have been a more upscale experience.

First I have to start with Jerome, helpful and knowledgeable. Checking in was smooth and our room was perfect for a weekend getaway. The atmosphere in this hotel was fantastic! And the Berkshire bar in the back was great bonus!!

Fun themed hotel with nice, clean rooms in a central location

The photos online don't make the hotel look as nice as it is. The music theme is carried through out the hotel, with album covers in the elevator and a variety of music playing. Our room on the 13th floor didn't have a spectacular view - we looked into a car park and up at office building - but the room made up for it. We appreciated the seating area, large bed, and the nice shower. The area was also extremely walkable to the boat tour we took and the navy pier.

No free coffee in the morning, but the coffee shop in the building is pretty good!

Payment issues.

Room was clean and comforable. Hotel in a great location for the sites.

Need to sort out payment issues. Wasn't told until I arrived there was a 100 dollar deposit charge. Annoying but I could live with it. I had to make payment for the room and the deposit on check in, which was fine. I tried to make payment on two different credit cards several times while two different staff members insisted there was something wrong with my card(s). This was despite the fact that I could show them on my online banking app that a payment was taken from my card. Their system wasn't showing a payment so they wouldn't accept what I was saying. It was only when another guest arrived and they were also having trouble taking his payment that they accepted it was their system that was the issue. Not a great start. On checkout, instead of just refunding the 100 dollars deposit they (without telling me), charged my card AGAIN for just the room. So I was left with TWO pending charges of several hundred dollars against my card, had to contact them twice to release one of the charges which they did do but it took days which wasn't good as I needed the funds available on my card for the second leg of my holiday. It was a good stay in general but these type of amateur issues are really not acceptable from a hotel.
