Loved the bedroom separate from the living space. Great location to walk around downtown area. Lots of yummy restaurants and tons of shopping. We took a short uber to Millenium Park and walked back to the hotel from there. One thing to note is that the pre-check in requires a bit more time and info than regular hotel check in, but it’s worth it once you’re there. Highly recommend!

I loved this room. I will stay there the next time I visit Chicago. It had everything I needed. The hotel was located close to bus routes and grocery shopping. It even had a washer and dryer.

The front desk was helpful and the location was great. Unfortunately, there was a certain shabbiness about the place--scuffs, broken slats on the blinds--and the appliances were not all in working order, including the coffee maker and the ice maker. It took days to have any problems address and fixed.

Well equipped apartment with a great view from the balcony and in a safe building and environment. Walking distance to supermarkets and restaurants. Good communication pre arrival with clear instructions on how to access the apartment. We arrived late at night but it was easy and quick to check in. The window blinds could have been better, they let in a lot of light at night. The only annoyance was the luggage storage on check out. We were told it was easy to access. In reality they expected us to leave our belongings next to the busy building reception desk, where the receptionist (who works for a different company to apartment owner) was busy and sometimes called away. They couldn't give us an answer when someone would move them to the secure room (apparently on a different floor). When i commented that it wasn't safe to leave our belongings in a public, sometimes unsupervised place I was accused of insinuating the reception staff were dishonest. My point was they were in a public area open to anyone from the street etc. In the end we chose not to use the service.

The room was very clean and smelled wonderful upon arrival. The apartment included a full kitchen that was fully stocked, as well as a washer and dryer in the unit. These apartments are also located in a very secure building.

Michigan Avenue is within a few blocks walking distance and the restaurant scene is easy to get lost in as it's right by all the best of the best in the city. I definitely suggest taking advantage of going to Sophia Steak specifically. They made a birthday celebration the most special it could be whilst having the best service and food. Place itself was well staffed. Everyone was willing and able to help with anything and everything. Communication was on point as well. My 2 issues with the stay: we stayed for over 10 nights and there was not enough toilet paper or paper towels to go for that long (also, low quality paper products for the price point I was paying for the place is little off putting) So I ended up buying my own stuff to use for the duration of the stay. The blinds. They are not the best quality and break VERY easily. Any time I opened the shades completely one would break off. They did replace them each time, but I think it's a bit redundant if this is happening all the time. All and all, if staying in chicago for a short or long term stay I would suggest it as it is the coziest, most chicago centered way to be and enjoy the city.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kasa. The unit was comfortable and well-appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful; they made sure we had everything we needed. Location was ideal- one block from the red line metro station- easy to get anywhere around the city. Right next to Whole Foods and very close to Trader Joe’s and Aldi too. Would recommend and hope to stay here again.

This is a bait and switch. For ethical reasons I avoid the you-know-who vacation stay app, but upon arrival it was immediately clear that’s what this is. Online it looks like a boutique hotel and claims to be a “four star” stay. It is a unit in an apartment building filled with some cheap furniture. The floor was sticky, fixtures were dusty, there was a lot of mold in the tub/shower, the blinds were broken, the mirror was hanging crooked bc it was not anchored to the wall, the rugs had stains, the stovetop was dirty, stains in the closet that appeared to be water damage, and flies randomly appeared. The location was great but that’s about all I can say positively about it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place nor stay here again.

We ended up just opening the window at night and it kept us cool enough. The bed was also SO firm, but for the cost and only for a few days- it was a good little apartment!

Perfect location and in & out parking connected to the building. However, I had to do a lot of pre-calling concerning the Parking and ability to park daily at a reasonable rate. It was not clear initially whether the parking was attached to the building or not with our concerns on transporting luggage. More info s/b provided. Also, the property owner somehow send messages on noise level WHEN we had music only the level of putting our speaker phones on our phone. Rediculous!!!!!! Almost ruined our vacation from policing the noise level.

Hotel is in disrepair--needs pain job, lamps that aren't ancient, proper plugs for devices, doors that actually have a double lock that works... This has also become a party hotel. There were two loud parties on my side of the hall alone. It is also a nightmare dealing with Kasa if there are problems with check-in, one's reservation, or anything.

Very nice location, easy to navigate and close by all things. I would stay again. The toilet was not secured down to the floor properly and need some sealer to secure it down. It caused the place to smell like sewage at times.
