Great deal overall for the money. Prime location. We came here for Cubs Convention and this was over 3x less price.

Price was right, friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast. The automatic pancake machine always makes my day.

The early check in fee was annoying. If you have open rooms just let it be a bonus and make your customer happy. The breakfast was meh. So much bread. Protein options were meh. Those scrambled eggs are bland.

Far too expensive for what you got. Postage stamp sized room and very loud air con machine outside of bedroom window. Staff were protesting during our visit. Stayed at the bellagio for a two night treat recently for exactly the same amount of money!

The air conditioner in our room 408 was very noisy turning on and off all night. No view from our room, interior brick wall. Small! Only 1 mirror in bathroom. The sink faucet sprays super hard and gets you all wet. The sink has barely any room for makeup and hair essentials, only little shelf ledge on mirror provided. Only 1 person can get ready in the mirror at a time. Would be nice if they added a long mirror in the entry way.

I was put in perhaps the worst room in the hotel right by some equipment. The bed was quite uncomfortable and there was a steady mechanical noise from next door.

The breakfast was good.

The mattress was dirty. The sheets were stained and dirty. The room itself was also dirty, the vent full of lint and the area around the vent covered in sticky stuff. There was stuff all in the sheets like lint and other dirt. Also, I only got one wash cloth for the two of us.

Good sleep in a safe area

The staff was super nice! The location is great, in a safe area of the city, close to . Breakfast is good, although it ran out rather quickly. Early check-in on availability.

Coming by car is not the best move. You have to find a spot on the street to park and not get a citation, to check-in, then an additional $50+ to park in a garage with no guarantee of security. We didn't have a shower curtain in our room.

Heat didn't work in my room the 1st night, room was freezing. Bathrooms are small, I also broke out in hives from whatever detergent they use on their linens and towels.

We booked months ago for a weekend get away. I had corresponded with the hotel multiple times prior to our stay . when my husband and I arrived at the property there were bike chains on the door , the elevator shafts were open and you could tell there was no one there . We attempted to call the hotel and the number was disconnected . I was in shock , our hotel that was confirmed was vacant. So here we are in chicago for the first time trying to figure out what is going on . I cant believe booking nor holiday inn express could make a huge mistake like this . So disappointed .
