I chose this hotel over similar hotels in the area because it had a pool and a fridge in the room. As an allergy suffer, I liked that the room did not have carpet. It proved to be a great location for my needs.

Staff was very friendly! We never got our room cleaned during our 3 night stay. We had to call for clean towels which they brought a couple bath towels but no hand towels or wash clothes. They did not take the dirty ones. No trash was collected. We had to walk it to the can by the elevator. We did ask for our room to be cleaned but it did not happen. Coffee cup lids did not fit the coffee cups. We had quite a spill. The front desk was very friendly and did send up items as requested but housekeeping really lacked

The hotel is worn down and beaten. The doors need to be rammed open and the floor in the rooms aren't great. The person who checked me is was not polite in the slightest. I'll be looking somewhere else the next time I travel to Chicago.

Room was spotless, female receptionist, although not rude but when I asked her a question she didnt hesitate to say no. I then asked where else I could ask for that question, she replied by saying" I don't know". I guess Im Old fashioned and being a reception you need some people skills..besides that, everything else was great.

Hotel was in a great location. Staff was universally friendly. Our room at the back of the hotel was dark and street noise was wild. Does every vehicle in Chicago have a siren?

Staff was very helpful in getting us checked in early. Location is great for walkability to bars and restaurants. Problem is the proximity to the fire station and the paper thin windows. Even with hubby’s CPAP, AC fan on high, and white noise, I might as well have had the emergency vehicles in the room with me. Literally didn’t sleep from 1245a to 445a when I had to get up for an early morning flight. If you stay, ask for a room that doesn’t look out onto Ontario St.
