beyond perfection!

Everything was perfect! The staff was super nice, the room was amazing. We didn't have a view to the city, but it was perfect because of the privacy (it's a plus). Breakfast was just perfect and we had the whole city surrounding us, so it was easy to go anywhere.

Nice getaway on a winter weekend.

Excellent location we could walk anywhere in the river north area.We saw a concert at the House of Blues one block away. Friendly, helpful staff, nice happy hour at night and continental breakfast in the morning.

Staff (all of them from front desk to facilities to breakfast etc.), proximity to our event, room space and cleanliness of room and hotel.

The only issue we had was that our room had wonderful windoes and one large window had a broken shade. We worked around not closing it and we are early risers so it wasn't an issue, but it was an inconvenience when getting dressed etc.

Loved our stay, almost hated to leave when we went to explore the city. Very beautiful and clean!

Everything. Beautiful Hotel. The BEST staff! Check in and Check out were a breeze. Very clean room, lobby, reception room, EVERYTHING. Shower was clean and the provided shampoo, conditioner and body soap were great. Location was ideal! They stored our bags for the day after checkout, so we didn't have to lug them around shopping. Highly recommend this hotel. Will stay here again for sure.

I liked everything. If I had to pick something, the only recommendation would be, more towels, etc in the rooms. We had 2 queen beds, 4 people and only 3 sets of towels. However, when we called for more, they came up with more RIGHT AWAY!

Fantastic Hotel in a Great Location

We stayed in a Deluxe King City View Room and it was wonderful! Our room was located on the 5th floor, facing onto West Kinzie Street. We had a view of the Marina City Towers and several other skyscrapers from the 3 huge windows that spanned the width of the room and extended to the ceiling. Due to the size of the windows and the tall ceilings, our room felt very bright and spacious. I really enjoyed the sitting area by the windows, the makeup mirror and stool in the bathroom, the double shower head in the shower, and the fact that our room contained both a mini fridge and a safe. I also liked that the hotel's front door requires a key after a certain time in the evening for security purposes, and that breakfast is included in the rate. The hotel feels modern and stylishly decorated, and due to daily housekeeping, everything always felt very clean. The hotel is also well located, less than 10 minutes from the River Walk and closest subway station, and surrounded by restaurants and nightlife. Even though our room faced onto a somewhat busy street (at least on the weekend, when the surrounding restaurant patios were buzzing), we heard minimal street noise.

Perhaps it was just because we were visiting over a long weekend, but the breakfast room was absolutely packed almost every time we were there over our 5 day stay. The staff were doing a good job keeping everything refilled but it was near impossible to find somewhere to sit. Also, one of the window shades in our room was slightly broken and was very hard (and incredibly loud) to pull up or down. I know it could be heard by our neighbors in surrounding rooms, because occasionally I could hear the squeaking sound of someone in another room pulling theirs down at night.

A budget-friendly, weekend getaway in the heart of Chicago that doesn’t disappoint.

Great location with walkable access to many activities in the center of the city. Clean rooms, friendly staff and efficient service makes this place top notch compared to its neighboring hotels with exorbitant rates. Plus 24-hour front desk and valet services is a bonus.

Outside noise from the streets were somewhat audible during some parts of the night but it’s to be expected during festival weekends. Complimentary breakfast is pretty basic, but had a decent selection.

Highly recommend staying here

Price, location, clean facility inside and out. Staff friendly and courteous. The stay included breakfast, and they offered complimentary happy hour 5-7pm beer and wine. I would definitely stay here again. There's a grocery store, a variety of restaurants and bars and club nearby, including the Riverwalk. Everything is walking distance and Uber/Lyft picks you up/drops you off right out front - very convenient. They also have an ATM in their lobby, and offer complimentary bottled water.

I wish they had a pool and wish rooms had a microwave. However, they do have a microwave on the 6th floor for use.
