Property is lovely and well decorated. Excellent location for waking into town and to the castle. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Can park on road outside during overnight and to unload but if leaving car longer then need to look for space on a side street. Well eqippped kitchen and starter pack-thanks
There were problems with the heating whilst I was there. The downstairs was too cold to sit there. Upstairs was warm in bedroom. I know hosts are trying to get this sorted so hopefully only a short term problem. After getting evening ferry I struggled to find property in the dark.
Numbering of properties on the road is limited and photo I had did not seem to match that on booking.com picture.
Unfortunately my directions did not/could not download until later in my stay-not sure why this has worked ok before.
There is some road noise most of the night which might disturb if you are a light sleeper.

Superb location, easy to find parking (end of September so not peak season) and a few yards or minutes away from shops, cafes and restaurants. Having breakfast looking out at the castle opposite was a highlight. Beds were comfy, excellent facilities, super clean and really thoughtful provisions.

We had a wonderful stay in Stornoway! The apartment is cozy, very clean, well equiped and perfectly located to explore the town and the whole islands of Lewis and Harris. Supermarket, shops, the harbour and the gas station are nearby. Castle Lews and its paths are in walking distance.

The welcome basket on arrival was terrific, saved us heading to the co-op straight away. Perfectly positioned to be close to all attractions, pubs, restaurants. Parking in the street nearby wasn't a problem (managed most days to get a spot within 100m). Great little home with everything you need be be comfortable during your stay.

The apartment had been recently upgraded and so the kitchen was very modern and spacious for two or four people. The views of Lews Castle across the bay were fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and both bedrooms nice and large,
The traffic noise on a busy Saturday night went on quite late so earplugs were helpful for anyone who is not used to street noise!
