Excellent house in an excellent location

What a fantastic house in a fantastic location. This was our 1st visit to the Outer Hebrides and in particular the Isle of Lewis and Harris, it didn't disappoint. The house was very clean and perfect for just the two of us, plenty of storage for our bits and pieces and a great, roomy walk in shower. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The bedroom was again very roomy and comfortable. The location was perfect for us as we didn't want to be too isolated but quiet enough to enjoy the peaceful location. The sunrise each morning was beautiful from the living room window.

It was very close to the town, but not too close that there is loads of traffic. It’s located in a nice secluded, quiet area. The house itself was cosy, and has all of the amenities needed for a few nights away.

Ideal for our 4 nights in Stornoway...the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay...washer and dryer a real plus when you're travelling..a bit out of town which was fine for us...shops and restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely clean (easy to find & access) house with almost everything needed for a short or long stay. Close to Stornowway town centre and supermarkets. Fantastic shower 🤣 Had a lovely 5 day stay

Lovely home on a lovely island

Very good accessibility, clean and cosy. House was warm on arrival, plenty of space. We didn’t use the kitchen as such but was fully stocked. There were board games available in the living room too. Only thing I would have changed would be to have a shower stool available for the shower, however, I forgot to ask so it’s very possible that they have one that gets put in when needed. We’re planning on going back to Lewis to do more exploring and would definitely book here again.

Great place to stay! Comfortable, kitchen well stocked, very spacious. Easy access into Stornoway and the rest of Harris and Lewis by car. Beds comfy enough, lots of natural light, and so peaceful

Hard to find anything to complain about. Small things only - the bathroom got quite cold at night, and the hot water in the bathroom sink would get too hot to use

It was a small 2 bed house on a quiet residential street. It had all the facilities that you could need. The breakfast hamper on arrival was a nice touch. (eggs, milk, bread, bacon) Would stay again.

Lovely cottage in a great location

The cottage was in a perfect location and has everything you need. The hamper of bread, eggs, milk and bacon is a lovely gesture and very thoughtful. There is a variety of family games to keep the kids entertained and lots of information/leaflets on things to do and see on the island.

Exceptional

The cottage was immaculately clean. It is also a very warm cottage. Everything you needed was provided and we were also treated to bread,milk,bacon and eggs so much appreciated as Sunday everything closes on Lewis bar the Indian restaurant and possibly the Chinese too. The location was perfect for visiting most tourist sites on Lewis and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about the island's history. Again thanks for the information booklet. We got a flat tyre and the nextdoor neighbour checked we were ok. In fact everyone we came across was so friendly and helpful.

Superb Bungalow

Stayed at this bungalow for our 6 nights while visiting Lewis & Harris. The property is excellent, it has a well equipped kitchen and next to it is the utility room. The bedroom is spacious and bed is very comfy (excellent nights sleep). The bathroom if fitted with walk-in shower which is powerful. The living room has double couch and two single chairs which were also very comfy. Had a superb time while visiting and would thoroughly recommend anyone visiting the Isle to stay at this accommodation. The host left a welcome pack consisting of bacon, eggs, bread and milk which was a nice touch. Definitely 10/10.
