Stayed here in early August, family of five.
First of all, David is an exceptional host. Essentials were left for us on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for him. Obviously he's an excellent guide for the area as well!
The house is well equipped, very comfortable and warm. WiFi was strong and fast.
Loads of place to visit in the area, so many lovely beaches both on Lewis and Harris, the lolaire monument, the Alpaca farm, Calanais Standing Stones, the random but amazing Crust Pizza and so many many more! Worth a quick visit to the small shop at the end of the road (sells crafts, souvenirs and 2nd hand goods... if you're lucky you might see the famous donkeys there!
Would definitely recommend staying here, we hope to be back.

The house was very comfortable and very clean. The location was excellent, handy for Stornoway. The village was quiet and very well kept, everyone was very friendly. David was an excellent host helping with information about the places we planned to visit. We would recommend staying here to anyone thinking of visiting the Outer Hebrides.

The property is located in a fantastic location, close to a beach. The house was clean, beds were really comfortable. We had a really warm welcome from the owner. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Beautiful place.

Well equipped cottage in nice location. It really was absolutely lovely - cosy, and easy to stay in. My points about the beds etc should be taken lightly because, in the main we were very happy with our stay.
Black out curtains in bedrooms especially for summer nights
A lighter duvet - too warm with the heavy one and hard to regulate body temperature
Better pillows
Bigger beds - at least in one of the rooms where a couple would sleep - would make a huge difference
