Lovely property and host.

Very comfortable and thoughtfully equipped for people wishing to self-cater some of the time. Nice to have a welcome basket of goodies. Dean was very helpful, allowing us to drop off luggage and check out a bit late.

Looking forward to our next visit

Parking was fantastic the location is very close to town and exceptionally quiet. Lots of little touches were taken to ensure our comfort and the enjoyment of our stay. We felt like we were visiting a friend.

The stairs are a bit steep, could be challenging for anyone who has mobility challenges

Great House in Town

The location was perfect for us to attend a wedding at Lews Castle and was only a few minutes drive to anything we needed in town. Loved the secure garden for the dogs. Lovely clean, cosy house with friendly hosts that were quick to respond to any queries. Welcome hamper was also a nice bonus.

We had the whole house to ourselves. It had everything you could possibly need and was very well equipped, clean, tidy and comfortable. It was in a central location for town. They also provided a small hamper of bread, wine, eggs, biscuits etc to get us started which was a lovely touch.

If I really really had to mention something here, I would suggest perhaps a second toilet.

A Great Place To Stay In Stornoway

The house was all we could hope for; excellent facilities and only 0.5 mile from the town centre. The supply of initial provisions was a very welcome bonus. We never actually met our host, but all Comms via Booking.com were efficient and timely. PS obligatory doggies photo 😉

Probably the Best Self Catering Property We’ve Ever Stayed At.

The property was excellent and all facilities had been thought about by the host. There was a welcome pack, which was very nice and covered all the basic requirements such as tea, coffee, bread, butter, even a nice bottle of wine! The property is 2 mins from the ferry, very central in the town and in a nice, quiet location. It was a real home from home. Just unpack and relax!

A great home from home in Stornoway

We arrived off the 8pm ferry to find a tremendously generous welcome hamper. We were very grateful for it after our long journey. The house was warm and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. It was a real home from home. The furnishings, appliances and kitchen contents were all of a high standard...not like the cast offs you sometimes find in a rented accommodation. I liked all the island touches, like the artwork, soft furnishings and toiletries. I actually went searching for some of these to buy while I was on the island. The house is a good advert for local products. The garden was enclosed and spacious for our dog and I loved feeding the birds with the bird seed the owner had thoughtfully left. The garden hose was great to hose down our wetsuits too. Great location in a quiet culture se sac, but very close to the town centre. The owner was very contactable and very helpful.

We have a king size bed at home and missed that a bit in the master bedroom. The double bed was very comfortable and I'm not complaining about it...just voicing my preference. There is only one toilet in the house, so we had to quickly set some time restrictions as 4 adults were living there. Again..its not a complaint, but something to be aware of when a lot of us are spoiled with an extra loo in our homes.

Best place in Stornoway, wonderful house with garden

Wonderful house, fully equipped with all you need. Three big rooms with comfortable beds, great shower enjoyable after long days of walk. Dean was super nice and flexible with us, we could drop our luggages earlier than expected, there were a lot of little sweeties, rosé wine and orange juice in the fridge. The house also has a garden, it is located in a quiet neighborhood 10-15 min walk from all the facilities. Do not hesitate, book now!

Beautiful well appointed house with well looked after garden, everything you can think of was supplied. Even some local foodstuffs and bottle of wine awaiting in the house! Host was always very reachable via messages and helpful.

Brilliant place to stay.

Brilliant place to stay. Facilities were thoughtful and excellent; there was milk, wine, fruit and some pate and biscuits waiting for us when we arrived. The place was spotless and very secure, especially for motorbikes. Even the neighbours were helpful and gave us some great tips.

Stayed at 10 Berisay for a couple of nights whilst working in Stornoway. The owner was extremely helpful and left us a lovely welcome hamper! The property is very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area, whether for work or on holiday. Good sized rooms, with useful hooks! Always a plus. Great sized well stocked kitchen with a utility room, and lovely garden with shed for storing bikes.

The kitchen worked well during our stay, though a family may need a few more plates perhaps.

Cozy, clean, comfortable and conveniently close to town

Every detail was met with clean Harris Tweed furniture pillows and curtains. the kitchen was well stocked and had quality cookware as well as a wonderful basket full of fresh farm eggs, fruit and crackers. The fireplace was so cozy, the washer and dryer such a benefit and everything was immaculately clean. There were even binoculars to watch the birds. another wonderful benefit of the house is that it was walking distance to everything. A very nice grocery store close by and all the shops and pubs within walking distance.
