Had to change rooms as the first one smelt bad, second room was good. Space was ok, it was close to the railway station, and you could get a bus into the old town too.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Our room was spacious with a great shower, lots of outlets, a mini fridge and a tv with a chrome cast. The hotel provided a free transit day pass as well which was great because it is located right by the bus/train station.

I don’t even know why they have a staff because you have to do everything on a kiosk in the lobby. I didn’t feel safe by punching in all my important numbers right there so we could walk up behind me and steal my numbers my phone number, my birth date, etc. the kiosk spit out your key card , so I didn’t really interact with the personnel at all When I ask them a question they seemed bothered

A. Self check in did not work. Reception has insufficient staff B. Nobody picks up the phone in the reception C. The air conditioner doesn’t work. I see from previous posts that this has been going on for a while so I’d be very careful staying here during summer. The windows in the rooms open very slightly so it’s hard to cool off the room.

Our first room was on the train track side and if the window was closed you couldn't hear the trains, but we had to leave the window open because it was hot and the AC wasn't working in the hotel. They did graciously move us to the other side of the hotel where it was much quieter and cooler.

The hotel is very nice but definitely a business hotel. At check in I was directed to a self service machine despite 2 staff members being available. The rooms are also not serviced unless requested. The room was very hot as the outside temperature was between 10-18 degrees which meant the windows needed to stay open. Being alongside the train station, this meant constant announcements were very loud.

the room was super hot. i complained to the reception and tried to get soemone to help. it was so warm i slept very badly, and opening the windows to cool the room down make it too loud to sleep. this was a real problem for me. I tried to control the temperature but this did not work

The room was good, very spacious. It was a little noisy with announcements from the train station, but when you stay close to a train station then thats to be expected. Check in, however was very lengthy. There is someone manning the desk, but you have to check in via self check in and the electronic board is painfully slow. We were lucky, there was no-one waiting behind us as we muttered a few expletives. The person behind the desk did ask us if we were ok, but didnt offer to check us in the usual way

A bit pricey for the amenities and the location as it’s a bit far from the city landmarks. Available parking is a plus although there weren’t enough slots at times. No room service available and not many vegan options in the breakfast (besides olives and hummus).

A hotel that would write the name of a country incorrectly, mixing up Taiwan and “Taiwan, a province of China,” which is clearly a mistake made by someone with insufficient knowledge. Does opening a hotel really need to involve unnecessary politicization? It’s a shame that such a beautiful city like Heidelberg is marred by this hotel’s actions.

I stayed for only two nights, and it was very comfortable and clean. The only downfall was breakfast was not included or coffee, and asked for an extra charge! Why not include breakfast or even just coffee only-- there's no choice given.

The station is about as close as you can get to the train station (next to the bus station too) and overlooks the platforms. Good soundproofing means that you are not disturbed by the almost continuous multi-language station announcements. One downside is the cost of breakfast which, at 19 Euros, is ridiculously expensive, especially if you just need a snack to start the day. Fortunately the station itself provides many food and drink options so you won't starve!

Nice hotel but our room overlooked the train station. The train station announcements started at 6:00 am and sleep was no longer possible. Even though we were on the 6th floor with the windows closed, we could hear every announcement clearly about which trains were arriving on which track, etc. I would not stay here again unless my room faced the opposite direction.

A new hotel with good reception staff , friendly and welcoming. The rooms have good sound proofing to the outside although internally less so. The furniture like the chairs are very heavy so if someone moves it in another room you can hear it. Equally if a door slams close in a nearby room the walls vibrate, a curse of modern architecture & design. Housekeeping were also noisy is it professional to be talking with each other so loudly. The room design is pleasant, really good air conditioning with good black out curtains and comfy beds & pillows. Great to have a fridge but a kettle would have been a great addition. The TV didn’t seem to work , switches and plugs at the bed were somewhat hidden as positioned on the side of the bed & black like the surrounding finish. Location just adjacent to the slightly shabby railway station but convenient for public transport. Overall depending on price this is an acceptable place to stay with more positives than negatives.

Wonderful new hotel right outside the station. Convenient to go into the old town with public transport. Hotel is clean and modern. Nice rooms, but AC did not seem to work. Definitely good value for money.

Everything was really great when we arrived, clean, comfortable, air-conditioning was working great and the room was cool. However, during the night the room got hot and stuffy, and uncomfortable. We bring our own fan, and turned it on in the morning, which helped. I don’t know why the AC gave out and we couldn’t figure out how the AC controls worked.

I had to plan a last minute trip to Heidelberg and found the Intercity hotel directly at the train station. Brand new, incredible bed, super-clean and with a friendly and approachable staff! Convenient whether you are on holiday and plan visiting the tourist areas, or if you have to do something else.
