Very lovely home, had everything we needed!

When we moved the bed the floor was very dirty in both rooms!! While we will not complain about the comfort of the beds, we were, however, expecting blankets to sleep with not just a sheet and a quilt.

There is no Wifi despite advertised as having it. TV did not work except on a small selection of old DVDs.

The overall facility was dirty, the sheets and the pillow cases were not changed, we can see dust, hairs, and what nots. Toilet was also not cleaned but it was manageable. we were most disappointed with the beds tho, we didn’t get a good night sleep because of it and we have to use makeshift bed covers and pillows just to be somewhat comfortable. The owner and the property manager were also not helpful they were not picking up the call and did not address our concerns.

The property was extremely dirty, and none of the bedding appeared to have been changed or cleaned. There was hair all over the bed sheets and towels. The bathroom was also very dirty, and the cottage itself had not been properly cleaned. I contacted the property management company immediately, but nothing was done. As a result, my boys had to sleep without sheets. I made several attempts to follow up with the property manager and was told the issue would be sorted, but no one ever showed up. I also requested that clean bedding be delivered to the doorstep, but this never happened. This was very disappointing customer service, especially considering we paid $400 for a single night. I hope this review helps other customers.

Unfortunately, this was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had.

Tv didn’t work. Power point in bedroom didn’t work. Couch legs had been removed, was propped on wood… way too low. Ant infestation in shower. Old rubbish on back deck and lawn.

Located in a lovely quiet little bay just a minute or two before Paihia. The kitchen was nice and tidy. We used the microwave, electric jug, and fridge, which were clean and functioned well, but can't comment on the other appliances. Crockery, cutlery and glassware in excellent condition. Bathroom facilities were clean and the shower had good pressure. Crisp, clean bedding. Good air-conditioning. Nice décor.

We had to sweep the floors because we couldn't walk barefoot without picking up bits of grass. In doing so we discovered large clumps of dust around the furniture feet in the bedrooms, behind the bathroom door, and settled along all the skirtings. There was also a horde of ants in the twin bedroom. The front and back doors are glass and had no curtains. We were very uncomfortable knowing that this made us visible to anyone outside. A 2-storey house is behind, and the bach is in an enclave of quite a few other dwellings, so there was a strong potential for people to see in. The front door had the paraphernalia for a blind still attached to the wall, but it seems the blind itself had been broken and not replaced. The back door had several nail holes both on the door itself and the door frame but nothing currently in existence to cover the glass. The TV set was missing a cable to make it functional. We connected the DVD player and thought we could relax with a DVD, but the only one we might have enjoyed was the wrong Zone and couldn't play. The double bed was extremely firm - I woke with aching hips from it. The sofa had no legs. Instead of legs it had two 2x4s on each corner. This lifted it off floor level but left it at a height substantially lower than recommended for comfortable seating. Too low, like this, causes excessive strain on the knees and back. Most of the kitchen equipment was good, but the two coffee plungers were both broken and the box of herbal teas had an expiry date of 2014 (two thousand fourteen). The rubbish bins inside were clean but had no fresh liners. Outside, a large rubbish bin contained a full black bag pushed down to make room, and a new black bag on top with some rubbish already inside. The rubbish we generated only just fit. The lock box for the key was quite difficult to open and even more difficult to close. It's also placed where one must crouch on grass to access it - not so easy for older people.
