The perfect place

We really liked everything about it; The house exceeded all our expectations. From the tidiness and cleanliness of the place to its majestic vegetation and tranquility, everything makes it the perfect place to take a well-deserved break. The proximity to the beaches and ferries made it easy for us to discover all the attractions that the Bay of Islands has.

Home away from home

AMAZING property!! The hosts thought of everything and catered for everyone. It was such a pleasant surprise to find children's toys and games, including a highchair and portacot. Immaculate house, lovely furnished and very comfy. It was wonderful to sit outside and have dinner under the pergola and louvres at night. Beautiful and well-kept gardens too. Plenty of rooms and so well thought out. HIGHLY recommend and will be back!

The upstairs occupants were loud all night. It was difficult for my 2-year-old son (& us) to go to sleep as there was constant noise until 2 am. Every bit of movement upstairs can be heard downstairs.

Beautiful relaxing home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen, good sized rooms, outdoor patio with heaters, laundry facilities. Loved the decor and extras.

The driveway is a bit steep. Lighting would be good. Bed in the back bedroom didn't feel or smell clean, sheets felt like they hadn't been changed,

I liked how the place had everything the drawers and cupboards were stocked with handy things I was even able to bake a cake and do my laundry.

We loved Everything about this place! There was Lots of room, the first bedroom was huge, the second smaller, Both beds were very comfortable, Huge full kitchen space, Good shower and bath room - Single separate toilet - not in the bathroom, Patio with dining table and chairs, lovely garden, good size driveway with spacious parking. Lovely extras like fins and mask/snorkel for use. This really was Bliss!

Shoes seemed to feel slightly damp from outside storage - but this was by no means a damper on everything else this place has to offer

It was incredibly spacious and comfortable. There was a huge thunderstorm at night and we felt very warm and cozy inside the house. Fully equipped and very clean. The garden was absolutely stunning and it was very close to Paihia Town Centre.

Such a precious hidden gem surrounded by Mother Nature. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights we couldn't be happier with our stay! everything we needed for a scape from the city chaos and get some time to unwind, relax and heal.

The property is immaculate! Incredibly comfortable and in a perfect location just outside of Paihia centre. It is in such a peaceful location. A lot bigger than we expected.

What wasn’t there to like? Sparkling new place with a lovely home feel in a beautiful setting with a gorgeous garden room and even a parking space. I love it here and absolutely want to stay again. Also the hosts, who were so helpful, very sweetly left me a note and bottle of wine to welcome me on my first night - thank you so much guys.

Surrounded by nature in a peaceful haven.

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Immaculately presented. Kitchen equipment was well thought through. Communication was outstanding.

There were guests in the upstairs apartment that were quite loud (foot traffic and music) which made the setting less tranquil for our quiet family. But was able to communicate with the owners who contacted the other party to turn down the bass in their music :) I asked if I could go and speak with them but they too care of everything.

I like the air condition

It said there has BBQ and turn out I have to wait for the next day to have it because the one lived above us using it. After I requested again on the next day they only gave me a tiny one not a proper BBQ. This house definitely not a proper apartment. Its only a restructure the bottom floor to a flat. You can hear clearly what happens on upper floor guests. If you like noisy others people family situation. This is a perfect house. Whether you are inside or outside of the house. You still can hear others conversations. I don’t think it match the peaceful environment. The price of the house is far too expensive for this condition. Our family is very upset and frustrated with the situation. I won’t recommend this house at all. Thanks for unforgettable stay.
