The house is really spacious and in a great location.
Lots of lights had bulbs not working which was frustrating. The house was generally clean (stayed in worse) but some cobwebs about. There was no bedside table on one side of the master bed. The beds were only standard doubles…which is fine but they looked small for the room size.
We will definitely stay again as it suited our needs and it’s better than others we’ve stayed in.

The location
The on suite shower height adjuster was broken which made it impossible to have a comfortable shower there is a second over bath shower but due to my age and health I find it impossible to climb over a bath side. It was not until the second day when we managed to find a plate in the kitchen 4 dinner plates hidden above the pan drawer no cereal bowls or plates of any other kind found. Drinking glasses are fine for champagne types not much use for wine or beer

It has great potential but needs some TLC. This was very close to family so the location was perfect.
The property really needs a bit of care and updating. From blinds falling off or faulty, lamps not working, broken corkscrew and just all around in need of a bit of updating.

We liked the big living room.
One of the showers wasn't functioning properly (too hot - boiling / or too cold)

House was spacious and lovely was so pleased with how the stay went as this was a bridal wedding party. Loads of space and mirror for lots of ladies getting dressed and once too. Worth the price.
Beds wernt so comfy. In need of toppers or something as we all slept not so great.

Beds were super comfy. Place was spotless. Quiet neighborhood.
Not lots of amenities in the immediate area. It was a 20 min walk into town.

The house was spacious and clean. Parking for two cars out front and set in a quiet area.
The beds were comfy, plenty of hot water and good kitchen facilities. Nice to have a little garden and the whiteboard in the kitchen was a huge source of amusement! Plenty of bedding and towels. Easy reach of supermarkets and the riverside.
The desk in the second bedroom is too big for the room. The lounge could do with coffee tables and lamps as the ceiling lights are very bright. The kitchen could be better organised as the crockery was split over several cupboards (making it difficult to find anything!) and none of it was matching. The kettle lid was broken and also the shower in the main bathroom leaked due to the screen not sealing.

The property is wonderfully decorated and very well equipped large spacious & clean
The location was close to where I was working so it worked well for me and the Parking at the front is great too 👍
This is Personal taste but I found the mattress very hard in the main bedroom and a few more pillows would be useful I did however sleep very well in one of the single beds which was a little softer.
Neither the blind in the kitchen or the back twin room worked I would’ve liked to be able to lift them and open the windows, especially because the weather was warm

it has all the facilities needed, was far more spacious than expected and nicely decorated. The area was decent too as it seems to be part of a redeveloped waterside area. 2 parking spots was great . All the bedding and towels that were needed.

It was clean and well equipped once you find the cutlery drawer (under the hob) but we never did find a toaster. Communication from the host was good too.
The riverside walk was nice and Stockton town centre a pleasant surprise. The Globe Theatre is a delight - will definitely go there again and the pet shop - Wags and Tails is well worth a visit!
It was described as a cosy, charming cottage by the river when in reality it is a modern townhouse on a newi-ish housing estate on reclaimed industrial land. Nicely done if you like modern.
The beds were hard, the garden a mess and no tv unless you sign into the firestick (as far as I could work out!).
If you like modern it would be a good place to stay. Next time I'll check out the surrounds on google earth.
