Beautiful home with great amenities ☺️
The property was spacious, had good heating as we came just as it was getting cold, a super comfortable bed and really lovely hosts. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our trip.
The property was a bit far for us as we were walking but the journey can be done and there is a bus (to skara brae, just press the stop button when you’re at the part you wish you stop) that stops not far from the home which was helpful also. Definitely recommend bringing a car but we knew it was a little bit out and we had no problem with that.

Magical, distressing complete and a great place to explore Orkney.
Great location, extremely helpful and accommodating hosts, quiet, and a stunning view whilst you’re having your morning cuppa or evening cocktail
I did not read the description thoroughly to realize that it was an attached cottage. Turns out not to be an issue as I was concerned with sound travel. There was no problem and I was able to close the kitchen/living room door so that I didn’t bother the host.

die Orkneys sind eine Reise wert, wenn man sie zu Fuß erkundet
Da ich mit Bus und zu Fuß die Insel erkunden wollte, war die Lage ideal, in ca. 20 min war man am Hafen von Stromness, wo man mit dem Bus bequem die Insel erkunden, das sehenswerte Museum besuchen, nette Lokalitäten (auf Empfehlung der Gastgeber aufsuchen konnte. Herrlich war der Blick aus der Wohnküche in die bezaubernde Landschaft .
Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.
