Superb location, only a short and walkable distance from Stromness but in the open. The view from the living area is absolutely superb with a 180 degree panorama of hills and water, on the right taking in the rugged hills of Hoy and the coming and going of the Northlink ferry. Exceptionally friendly and helpful owners, with the added benefit of them living right next door.

The property was spacious, had good heating as we came just as it was getting cold, a super comfortable bed and really lovely hosts. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our trip.
The property was a bit far for us as we were walking but the journey can be done and there is a bus (to skara brae, just press the stop button when you’re at the part you wish you stop) that stops not far from the home which was helpful also.
Definitely recommend bringing a car but we knew it was a little bit out and we had no problem with that.

James und Janet waren sehr nette Vermieter; eine eigene kleine Wohnung mit Küche (Mikrowelle, Herdplatten, Wasserkocher), sehr schön eingerichtet, tolle Aussicht auf Wasser und Insel Hoy.
