Very nice and clean

The accommodation is very cozy and clean. There is a big free parking lot and the garden is beautiful. After the online check-in we also got free tickets for all busses in the city for the time of our stay and the bus station is very close, we didn’t even expect that and it was very useful. The hosts are friendly 😁

Lovely peaceful location

The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable and Georg was super helpful when my phone stopped working. I had the pleasure of eating at the restaurant on the premises. Georg's mother is a very good cook and host. Make sure to book. The restaurant is only open Wednesday to Saturday. It was great to get the tourist pass for free public transport. Georg arranged it on arrival.

Whilst it was a quiet and peaceful location, the bus stop can feel like a distance away (approx 500mts) The bus arrives less frequently as the day goes on and the same to return home. This can be problematic if you are short on time.

Highly rated local Austrian experience.

We loved the home feel and can’t thank the hosts Esther and Georg enough. The guest house is traditional and gives an authentic Austrian experience. Positioned at the foot of the mountains the scenery and quiet location is truly amazing. The restaurant has an authentic Austrian menu with locally sourced produce, home cooked with care from Esther. Best food in our 5 week European trip. The Esterer seems a world away from the bustle of Salzburg, but is an easy bus ride on the 21 route from Salzburg Hbf. Uber was easy for our arrival but the view from the bus is great, and interacting with the locals is always a good experience when travelling. There is free use of buses in Salzburg for tourists - the pass is available at check in. For the nights the restaurant is closed (Sun -Wed) there is a cafe across the road from the bus stop, a 500m walk from the Esterer. It was a genuine surprise location, the hosts were amazing and the rooms very adequate. If you need anything, just ask and Esther is there for you. Recommended to all travellers wanting to experience the real Austria. We loved it.

Nothing really. There are stairs but Esther was available to assist with moving our luggage. No kettle in the room but one was supplied when we asked.

Great location to travel everywhere if u go by car

Great location. Close to Salzburg, close to Schönau am Königssee, close to the mountains etc. Easy to park, very friendly host, clean room, quiet and comfort, dog bed is provided, very nice.

The room is worth what I paid, but after I booked, the price dropped by 18% immediately. The sudden difference does leave a bit of a sour feeling.

Stunning location, spotlessly clean

Traditional Austrian guesthouse. The room was spotlessly clean, and the location was fantastic. Just on the edge of the village with mountains all around, but only 20 mins from Salzburg. Our hosts could not have been more helpful or friendly. We had breakfast twice and an evening meal too. Both were delicious. I'd definitely recommend eating at least once at the guesthouse. Fantastic stay.

Salzburg little fairy tale location

Just amazing location on the edge of Salzburg. This is all you need at the end of the day. Clean, quiet and peacefu. Every night, we had a beer at the bar, after hard work, and the hosts are just amazing.

Super B&B waar we zeker nog eens terug gaan komen.

De B&B ligt op een heel rustige plek in Furstenbrunn vlak bij Grodig. Geen langsrijdend verkeer of lawaai. Je kunt er s'avonds lekker buiten zitten. Verder is het heel erg bereikbaar met de auto. Salzburg is slechts een paar kilometer verder. De B&B heeft een heel erg vriendelijke gastvrouw en heer. Deze doen hun best om het je naar de zin te maken. Super ontbijt in de morgen en erg goede koffie. Verder nog nooit zo verwend met de goede wifi.

Een keurig,maar basic pension .Goed voor kortdurige overnachtingen

De eigenaren en het personeel,waren super vriendelijk!Ze wilden alles wel voor je doen. Het pension,de kamer en sanitair,was gedateerd maar wel heel schoon .

We zaten wel erg afgelegen,en omdat we gebruik maakten van het openbaar vervoer ,moesten we nog wel een stukje lopen naar de bushalte toe. Ook misten we wel wat 'reuring ",in het pension zelf .Je was in de avond ,echt aangewezen op je kamer en kon niet nog even gezellig een drankje drinken of iets dergelijks.

Super nette Gastgeber, die dich herzlich empfangen, sich um alles kümmern, viele Tipps für die Umgebung geben, es gibt die digitale Gästekarte, damit sind die Nahverkehrsmittel kostenlos, super Lage unterhalb des Untersberg, mit dem Bus ist man in ca .40 min im Zentrum von Salzburg, wer die Ruhe und das Ländliche sucht, ist hier genau richtig, super Frühstück und Abends kocht die Chefinsuper leckere regionale Köstlichkeiten.Kommen gerne wieder...

Ein Ort zum verweilen

Auf unserer Rückreise, haben wir einen Ort gesucht, wo wir uns Ausruhen und ein bisschen Kraft tanken können und haben diese wunderbare Unterkunft gefunden. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer, mit großem Bad, einem Balkon, Blick auf die Berge und einer tollen Gastgeberin, die uns ganz wunderbar umsorgt hat. Egal ob wir Fragen zu Ausflügen in die Umgebung hatten oder Wünsche was das Frühstück, die Getränke oder das Essen betraf, sie hat sich immer ganz herzlich um uns gekümmert. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen wird aus regionalen Produkten zubereitet und ist einfach nur köstlich. Man kann ganz schöne Ausflüge direkt vom Hotel aus machen, sei es mit dem Fahrrad nach Salzburg oder aber auch durch den Wald in die Berge. Wir haben uns sooo wohlgefühlt und gut erholt und danken unserer Gastgeberin für die schönen Tage. Für uns ganz klar, wir möchten wiederkommen und dann länger bleiben.
