Swallows Nest

Lovely place to stay, quiet & peaceful, very clean. Would book this again 100% if in the area and was available.

There isn't anything not to like about this little gem.

We had such a lovely stay. Mags was brilliant, so responsive and genuinely kind. The EV charger was perfect for us, and the room itself was really comfortable. The shower was fantastic, and having a kettle, teabags and a little fridge made everything feel that bit more homely. Three local pubs nearby and a convenience store and post office were the cherry on the cake.

We did stay on the hottest day of the year and glad we took a fan from home to use although Mags was very thoughtful and had closed all the blinds to try and minimise the heat.

Lovely and clean. Comfy bed. Water and fridge a nice touch. Shop just around the corner and three pubs in the village!

Could have done with a socket near the mirror.

Very comfy bed, spotlessly clean & great shower. Easy to access via key safe. Off road parking. Close to M1 but very quiet and good area.

Booked specifically because of the EV charger. I advised I’d be arriving late & asked how to use it. Was told just needed to plug in and push the button on the wall unit. Was leaving early the next morning to drive 150 miles. The EV unit had stopped charging and I had just 50 miles range instead over 200. Had to stop elsewhere to charge and missed the appointments I had that morning. The EV charger seemed new but I’m not sure the owner knew how it operated. I advise checking this before booking. Had I been able to charge successfully I would have rated the property very highly.
