The property was unclean and of substandard state
There were insects on the bed sheets!!!

It was a good location to be in central Leicester, that is the only upside.
The pillows were literally tiny square cushions inside a pillowcase, really uncomfortable. Firm bed, medium comfort. Poor maintenance of the apartment. No charm, no character, no decor, only the overhead light, so full brightness or total darkness. Poor cooking facilities, this apartment is clearly an afterthought for the owner. Stank of smoke when we arrived, really noisy with other tenants in the building, next door to a fire station so blue lights in the night. Just generally very poor, we just wanted somewhere to put our heads down for the night, but this was just next level bad. Not worth the money, really bad experience, wouldn’t recommend to an enemy.

Location
Unfortunately, our stay was really unpleasant. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, like an ashtray, and it was so bad that our clothes still smelled of it the next day. The room was also extremely cold, with only a small electric heater provided, which wasn’t enough to keep it warm.
There were only blinds rather than proper curtains, which didn’t feel very comfortable or private. On top of that, it was very noisy — we could hear everything happening in the corridor, including people coming in and out, which made it hard to rest or sleep properly.
To make things worse, there was no kettle anywhere in the property, meaning there was no way to make a hot drink, which was especially disappointing given how cold the room was.

Nothing
Very untidy, pictures shown is different and the room is very pathetic condition, very unclean and ugly, I never seen this type of room before, very bad response from the staff too, they told me they will send staff to clean which they never did

Plenty of plug sockets...
Location was on university campus, room was dirty, bins overflowed on the entrance way into the building, noisy at times, cold with 1 heater, bed was small so one of the couple had to sleep on the floor. Wifi only worked intermittently.

Bed did not have a fitted sheet and the sheet it did gave was too small and did not tuck in resulting in it moving off the bed.
The apartment smelt of food and lack of air.
The porcelain had been cleaned but the floors, walls, shower doors, were filthy.
Also the Booking .com link on Google maps sent us all over Leicester. It took an hour to find the apartment and that was when we used the post code.

The location is perfect for accessing UoL
The door looks super unsafe. Walls are very thin. You can hear everything in the next door flat. Shower was hard to use, either too hot or too cold. Bed was uncomfortable. You can feel the strings inside. The room was so cold.

Smells of damp , broken plaster, frayed seat, no pressure for the shower, uncomfortable bed and pillows

The location was fine for me; I rented it only because it was close to the uni, which was important. Yet, the street turned out to be noisy, and it bothered me at night even when I wore earplugs.
It is a very dirty apartment. I was pretty ready for this, to be honest, since I read the reviews. I also rented this apartment because I was curious how far dirtiness could get. I am not afraid of dilapidated hotels and apartments; I stayed at cheap hostels and Airbnbs in Germany, France, and Russia, but I have never seen something like this. I was prepared for the dust and broken window blinds, but not for the dead insects and dirty stains on the bedsheets. The blinds were really broken, and I used a sleeping mask to protect myself from the light from the street. The toilet smelled of old mold, the door handles felt sticky, and there was no basic soap to wash your hands. I did not try to shower; I didn't want to risk getting a foot skin infection. There were two towels, but I used mine, because again, I did not want to risk it. I brought ready-to-eat food (not enough cutlery to cook in the apartment). Also, not recommended for sensitive people and those who can't tolerate noise. The boiler in the kitchen is annoyingly noisy, and at night, the noises from outside and inside the house are disturbing. This apartment should not cost £50 per night for all these appalling adventures; £20 is the right price.

Good location. Easy check in process.
Shower didn’t work at all. Not the cleanest of properties and lots of parts falling apart. Soundproofing from other rooms in the building very poor also.

The location was excellent for us walking to De Montfort Hall
The communication before our stay could have been better. The bed was uncomfortable. There were 2 shower mats for towels- we had taken our own! Although we didn't cook, there was only 1 knife, fork & spoon. The bathroom area could have been cleaner.

Self contained flat with kitchen and bathroom
It was dirty
The bed was unkempt
The bathroom wasn't hygienic
The security was poor - the flat entrance doors would fail as fire doors because they were so loose that anyone walking outside the flat entrance would cause the door to rattle
The walls are too thin and noise is easily heard from neighbouring flats
The neighbours are too noisy and continue partying until late at night
Parking is not guaranteed and there may be a distance to walk if you end up having to park far away

First impressions of the area were of a crack head waiting for their dealer but I reserved judgement and remained hopeful for the property. The hallway and stairs leading to the apartment were dirty, the room was alright on first glance, it didn't have any hand soap in the bathroom, the washing machine had rust on the base and it was generally a grubby place, certainly not somewhere I would choose to stay. We went to bed and while watching TV I heard a scratching noise from under the bed that sounded like rodents. I pulled out the bed a bit to investigate and found a used condom. That was it, we packed up and left at 10pm. Absolutely disgusting!

Clean and comfortable
Lack of proper shower facilities, shower had literally barely any water pressure and it was either freezing or boiling and the place was really difficult to find

Location
Very grubby and overall dirty feel. Bedsheets stained, walls and radiator have shoe footprint marks. Mould visible on ceilings and walls.

Location was convenient
The place was dirty, very dirty. It doesn’t even make sense to be asked to pay £100 deposit. There is absolutely nothing to damage. Bed stained, also has mould. Bedding stained, floors look like they were last cleaned last year. Fridge not clean, it was even hard to put our stuff anywhere. Blinds were broken, no complete privacy.

Location was good and ease of access was good. Simple to get in and out. Good WiFi.
The door broke after the first day, poorly maintained. However this was fixed. The shower was either boiling hot or cold and the temperature fluctuated throughout using it. Mould on the walls of the flat. Utensils were old and dirty, no cleaning utensils provided. Hand soap had been watered down. Flat was very cold but heating eventually warmed up
