Lovely cottage in a quiet location.
Rutland is a beautiful location. It has great scenery and lots of outdoor activities. There are some excellent small market towns around and lovely places to eat. There are quite a lot of child friendly things to do as well. Wren cottage is a very nice holiday home. We also enjoyed the Buttonhole Cafe at the campsite nearby.
The property only has a bath - it does not have a standing shower and you are not able to stand to shower in the bath. In the kitchen there is a Rayburn style cooker rather than a conventional oven. There are lots of instructions so this is something just to have in mind. Otherwise, the property is delightful.

Very cosy and lovely and quiet.
Good location with dog walks on doorstep. Lovely and quiet with a very pleasant garden. Comfortable bed and good bath. Nice and cosy. Good size kitchen and handy downstairs toilet.
T.V was very slow. Was very hot so had to go and get a fan also no tea strainer. Difficult to get to the sockets behind bedside cupboard.

Fabulous, best holiday home we’ve ever stayed in.
The property had everything you could need for a self-catering stay. It was quiet and had a lovely private garden in a very pretty village.

brilliant location, sizeable kitchen/diner
very small lounge, uncomfortable master bedroom beds, hand held shower (all this made for an uncomfortable space for a family of 4)
