The fact that the two spaces were properly enclosed by a lovely quaint old stone wall so our dogs could go off lead on their own.
The house is cosy for Christmas time!
Nothing much.
Parking is outside the property but we did get a space every day.
Mother in law said mattress in spare room not quite fitting the bed.
Shower a wee temperamental and yes there is a damp issue in the otherwise immaculate bathroom. It’s around the shower and does cause mouldy marks around the bath too.

The location is fantastic, very secluded and quiet. It's in a lovely village with a great pub, 5 minutes to Rutland Water, and 15 to Stamford & Oakham. The house was spacious and well-enough equipped, and the garden was nice to sit in and watch the bees, birds & squirrels. Nice bathroom and good wifi. We knew about the parking, so that was not an issue.
Some of the house needs a proper clean (e.g. the walls) or a repaint. It's not grim, but it doesn't make a good first impression. The cleaners also hadn't done a great job of the clean between visits - e.g. crumbs in the cupboards, sofa needed a brush down.
Some thicker blinds/ curtains would help - it was pretty light in the bedrooms from daybreak, which was a disadvantage in June.

Location poor - cannto park near, long walk along path to the door.
Cottage seriously in need of makeover. No heating (did not work) and walk spilled under the bath. Many damp patcheds & marks.
