We got told check in details would be sent at 15:00, at 15:30 we still hadn't heard anything and had to call. We then got told that we couldn't stay in the place we had booked and the only option would be for us to stay in shared accommodation. Not acceptable when 3 hours from home and no alternatives! When we went into the accomodation we were disgusted, the bedding was filthy, the room was cold, and the overall accomodation was vile with hairs on the floor, thick layers of dust everywhere, rubbish from the previous people to stay left in there. Absolutely disgusting customer service from the owner, avoid at all costs!

Nice house but quite small .

Nice house but not the property we booked.

House wasn't the one we actually booked, we were re located to a different house, only round the corner and very nice and clean, but quite small.

Property good access was an issue host communication not great.

The property was very nice - clean & comfortable and location was good for our needs.

When booking the property we used the dropdown tab to advise 2 people would be staying - the price went up from the individual person price which was to be expected. Check in said from 15.00 we advised we would be there between 17.00 & 18.00 as we were travelling & unsure of traffic. We arrived at the property for 16.30 we had not received any check in details so called the hosts. The man said he was in Leicester with the key & would be an hour. On arrival he said he needed more money as 2 people were staying & we only booked for 1 and he messed about with the heating for an hour in the end we left him in the property and went out for food, we had just completed a 14 hour day & really didn't need these complications. The bookin.com said the hosts were new - perhaps they could benefit from some guidance from boooking.com.
