Garden lodge

Great location close to Nailcote Hall. The lodge had everything we needed including an enclosed garden for our dog for whom there was no extra fee. Host friendly and helpful. Have booked to stay again in another three weeks time

I've stayed at this property several times throughout the year, and it has consistently been an excellent choice. It's perfectly located for anyone travelling by car, with secure private parking inside the property. It is only a 10-minute drive from the university where I was working, making it extremely convenient. The owner is very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Every time I had a minor issue—for example, some noise coming from the boiler—he came over almost immediately and resolved it. It's reassuring to know that any problem is dealt with so quickly and efficiently. He always provided the code for the automatic gate and left the lodge door unlocked for my arrival, so checking in late was never an issue. The property is exceptionally quiet, with virtually no noise in the evenings or early mornings, making it a great place to relax. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also provided. One thing I really appreciated is that the owner clearly pays attention to guests' feedback. In one of my reviews earlier this year, I mentioned that the only minor issue was the shower temperature, which was difficult to adjust—it was either too cold or too hot. During my more recent stays, I was delighted to find that this had been completely fixed. The shower is now perfect. Another welcome addition is the air fryer in the kitchen. The kitchen was already very well equipped, but this is a thoughtful extra that makes self-catering even more convenient. Overall, this is a lovely place for both short and medium-length stays. I've always enjoyed staying here and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, quiet, and well-managed accommodation.

Late check-in was always easy thanks to the automatic gate code and the lodge being left open for my arrival. The property is exceptionally quiet, very clean, and the kitchen is well equipped, with the welcome addition of an air fryer. A comfortable, peaceful place offering excellent value for money. I would happily stay here again.
