Canvas Arundel House in Coventry

Travelling from the Middle East I was shocked and so disappointed to see no Air Conditioning in the room. It was pretty hot in the UK this year. There was also no AC in the public transport bus I took from Bimingham airport. So I immediately went to the reception and complained , please give me an AC room! She smiled, and some other guest (a student replied), "bro I had the same reaction when I came, but there's no AC here anywhere here even in the 4 star, 5 star hotels, I was 😮.. Then this female at the reception said wait I will check if we have an extra fan some rich students leave behind while leaving for good. Then she went to the stores, and got me a stand-fan. It was so nice of her. That fan mad it possible for me to sleep well. I would like to sincerely thank her.

It was an overall good experience. Ymm something that can be better: Lack of dustbins in the lobby and other areas, or even in the room. The billards table was worn out, not maintained, even the foozball tables are outdated and not in good shape. That's it.

Private bathroom Gym Location

Staff welcome you so warmly. The common areas were very neat and tidy. The room itself was sufficient, clean, everything worked. Cotton sheets were appreciated . Towels of good quality. Bathroom very neat.

It would be nice to have a small drinks fridge to keep the drinks cold in the summer. Maybe a communal ice machine could also be an alternative.

Cheap Clean Bed was comfortable Shower was decent

Was given a key to a room that was already occupied. Tv didn’t work No microwave No kettle WiFi stopped working multiple times
