A fantastic stay in Coventry — spotless throughout, especially the sparkling clean shower, with a welcoming and helpful

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in Coventry. The place was exactly as described — comfortable, well-equipped, and in a great location. Everything was spotless when I arrived, and I especially appreciated how incredibly clean the shower was — it honestly looked brand new and made the whole stay feel even more comfortable. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Coventry!

Clean and cosy

It had a private entrance, it was clean and nicely decorated and very good kitchen facilities.

The shower wasn’t the best, it was just a general wall shower, not much water and not much pressure. There was a very weird kind of squeaking noise throughout the night, it sounded like someone walking around upstairs, but there was no upstairs to this building, you couldn’t hear it from the outside and we couldn’t figure out what it was.

I had a fantastic stay at this property. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and looked exactly like the photos, if not better in person. Everything was well thought out and the space felt comfortable, modern, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The hosts were excellent throughout – friendly, professional, and always quick to respond. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, and they made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Overall, this was a really high-quality stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-maintained place with great hosts.

Comfortable and warm, the hosts were very communicative, about 15 minutes walk to town. Great bed!

It was not that clean, it was tidy but the walls and bathroom were covered in dirty marks. Lovely to provide tea and coffee but the pot of instant coffee had mould growing inside. It's much smaller than the pictures and two people really could not comfortably cook and eat in there.

It felt like home but with the holiday vibe

I had a truly wonderful stay at this property. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt immediately welcoming. The host provided clear instructions for check‑in, making the whole process smooth and stress‑free. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, from the comfortable beds to the well‑equipped kitchen. The location was perfect—close to local attractions yet quiet enough to relax and unwind. I especially appreciated the cozy living area, which made evenings feel like home. Communication with the host was excellent, and they were always quick to respond to any questions. Overall, this house exceeded my expectations and I would happily book it again for my next trip.

While my stay was excellent overall, there are a few small points worth mentioning. The Wi‑Fi connection was occasionally a bit slow, though it was more than enough for browsing and streaming light content. The house is located slightly outside the main town center, which means a short drive or walk is needed for shops and restaurants — but this also makes it wonderfully peaceful. The kitchen could use a few extra utensils, yet everything essential was already provided and functional. The stairs are a little steep, so guests with mobility concerns should take note, though they add to the charm of the traditional design. Parking space was limited, but the host gave clear guidance and it worked out fine. The heating took a little while to warm up, but once it did, the house was cozy and comfortable. These are minor details compared to the overall experience, and they didn’t detract from how enjoyable the stay was.

Bathroom had not been cleaned prior to my arrival (toothpaste spit on floor). I think there may be a drainage issue in the bathroom as it smelt strongly in there.

Everything was perfect. The location, I was close to things I needed the most, the bed was lovely, with tons of pillows that enabled a comfortable sleep. The surroundings was very neat, and everything I needed was provided for.

Came here with my partner, and it was exactly as shown on the listing, Really fast WiFi, nice and private and couldn’t not have asked for more especially with the price being so cheap, definitely value for money. Super clean and given complimentary water and biscuits which was a nice touch. Host were very responsive and check up on us several times during our stay which was very kind. Will definitely be back

Fantastic

The property had everything I needed. The bed was super comfortable and it was immaculately clean. The service I received prior and on arrival from Azeem was exceptional. I couldn’t get on to my booking.com app on arrival for the code etc but Azeem answered straight away and sent through the info. They even checked in on me on the first morning to see if everything was ok and if there was anything else they could do. The location was central too for town. I stayed on my own for work have already booked for next week.

Could have done with a fan but it was absolutely boiling due to the sun not the property.

Clean and comfortable but did not get all that I had paid for

Clean and comfortable

There was no power on morning after first night. It took two phone calls and an email via booking system to get a response. I was unable to have a shower, charge my phone and have a cup of tea that morning. I got an apology later on that evening but no offer to reduce my payment. It was working by the time I had returned that evening and I was told that it was due to a local power cut - so local I was the only property affected - funny that.

This property was fantastic perfect for what I needed it for, I was in the area for work and the last time I came here the WiFi was ok but now they have bought super fast WiFi to the property which made my work very efficient! The place was clean and the teams communication was great and they also left me some nice treats for my stay which was very thoughtful! Would definitely book again!

Good stay for solo work trip!

Good facilities - WiFi, parking, tv, amenities, guest Netflix was a really nice touch. Communication with the hosts was excellent before, during and after stay. Bedroom part of the annex small but well presented, and tidy. Good location for what I needed. Property felt secure. Check in/out was easy. Good for solo stay.

One of the nights I stayed was really cold - as it’s an annex it did seem to let the cold in & wouldn’t get warm even with the radiator. Good to consider this for any guests during colder months e.g additional heaters. Bath mat hadn’t been changed when I arrived which isn’t hygienic , though guessing this was just an oversight as rest of the property presented well!
