This could easily get a poor score because it is not luxurious, but with the right expectations it was just what we needed. The "hotel" is simply a suite of three separate apartments with en suites, entered by a series of code numbers. The space is tight and we found the bed comfortable but the room was perfectly functional and Helal the manager was very ready to help. Good big towels. Bonus was having a full size fridge in the apartment so we could chill water bottles (and wine bottles) easily. We found the location great - very near the train station (so easy from the Leonardo airport train), just under a mile to walk to the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi fountain or the Borghese park. Public transport is also now very easy (tap-in contactless is easy). Price was good for central Rome.

The hotel is actually at 4a via Carlo Alberto not number 4, and is only visible by a small plaque - there is no reception as such, you have to text Helal and he then comes and lets you in. Also the toilet is very tight - knees up against the shower glass! (could lose the bidet and rotate the toilet for a better fit).

Host was really nice! Only issue was at our arrived we couldn’t find the hotel the sign was very little but he support us through WhatsApp and we could find him.

It was ok for one night.

Great value and location. Has all the facilities we needed. Staff very helpful. Close to Termini and bus transport.

A little tricky to find the property but worth the effort.
