Tatiana was a wonderful host! Communication and hospitality with her was amazing. The location of Casa Simpatia is also perfect. If you like staying close to the city center but hate living among the crowd, this is the place for you. Rome can be very busy and crowded and it was nice to get a break from the busy, loud streets by going home. At the same time, the location is within walking distance from the Coliseum and central train station. The apartment itself is very quaint and was a perfect escape from the Roman summer heat. I would 100% recommend staying here.

The location is quite good and the price is correct
The lack of communication. I've asked twice ours host if it will be ok to leave ours luggage earlier as our plane was in the morning. He said ok but we waited 1 hour for him for finally going back to the train station and pay 36 euros to leave our luggage there. We lost 3 hours our first day because of that and of the walk and queue we have to do at the station.

Room was very cleaned and the building felt safe. Good location as well
Communication with the host was rushed and uncleared. Some facilities weren’t working well (like hairdryer and the shower head)
