Glam Sm Maggiore Guest House

Perfect location and a really spacious, clean room with an ensuite bathroom. We stayed for 5 nights and had a very comfortable stay. The host was really responsive whenever we needed anything, and we had no issues at all. The flat also has a lift, which was a huge bonus when carrying our luggage. I was a bit worried about the noise because a lot of previous reviews mentioned it, but we honestly didn't notice any noise during our stay. The fan was also a lifesaver during the heatwave! Would definitely stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very central, the lady taking care of the rooms was very efficient and friendly, clean and neat rooms.

We were two people and had only one key, which made us dependent on each other. The last two days there was no more hot water in the shower. We told it to the lady after the first day, and despite her saying it was then fixed, it wasn't. But the main problems were that there was no AC. In a city like Rome you NEED air conditioning in a hotel, especially in July and August. The fan on the ceiling just didn't cut it. Which wouldn't have been a problem if we could have left the windows open, which we couldn't because being on a medium trafficked square all night long loud motorbikes and ambulances and cars would pass right under the window. The windows themselves were exceptionally soundproof when closed. But again, without AC it was like melting. Beds were too soft for me, but that is only a matter of taste.
