Streamlined automated check-in, unfulfilled ammenities

The automated check in system was workable and clear for me. Other people who came around the same time as I didn’t have as much luck. I ended up being their front desk staff and tried to help them out.

Please don’t promise stuff on booking websites or your invite email and not deliver. This is called fraud and is frowned upon. No washing machine that works (extension cord to dryer doesn’t reach outlet), no breakfast (Sundays are apparently holidays), no workable coffee system (no packaged coffee available), no soap or shampoo, the workstation is decent at best , etc.

I’m not sure if I would return

The room was clean.

The room was quite noisy, as it is located right on the road — we kept waking up during the night because of the traffic and also the church bell. The materass are not confortable. On top of that, the third bed wasn’t prepared, and I was asked to pick up the bed linen in the basement. This could have been even acceptable if the price had been lower.... overall it was disappointing.

How long have you got. It was really dated. The beds were close to breaking. Not enough pillows. Room was stifling but couldn’t open windows due to road noise. Requested fan but was denied. Requested extras pillows but was denied. Rooms are really outdated and need refurbishment. Advert shows laundry and TV facilities but both not available. Neither was restaurant below.

This is not a hotel.

Nothing. This is advertised as a hotel. It’s not an hotel and it’s not self catering. It’s a room with a bed. A coffee maker and that’s it.

I take the blame for not checking the location properly. I booked while travelling and wanted something close to the Gotthard Tunnel. I didn’t realise the location was measured by (crow flying). It was 2hours out of my way. I was exhausted at arrival with limited internet (due to location) therefore the “self check in” was very difficult. Language barrier added to the frustration. Tired and hungry I had to complete an “online” form, download my passport and give reason for my stay for one night before I could access my key. There was no breakfast nor any where to buy breakfast and it’s still not clear if the price included breakfast. Anyway we left in the morning to travel the 2 hours back to our route with no breakfast. The accommodation is not a hotel. It is not self catering. There is no fridge, kettle or any cooking facility and no reception.

To avoid my mistakes, pls. read the instructions send to you via email! :) The room is a good size, has a double bed and small table with coffee machine, kettle and cutlery set. There is no TV, but a projector, which works fine after dark. There is no fridge, so you either eat out or rely on fruits and sweets :). The bathroom was super clean and comfy. There is a ski equipment storage in the basement, accessible via stairs from the lobby. The location is good - 7 min walk to the Sedrun ski lifts and the train station. Sedrun is a quiet village, good if you want to stay away from the crowd and have some quiet time, but there are still restaurants and shops next doors. An excellent ski rental service is just 3 min from the place. There are ski lifts in Sedrun, but I prefered to take a train and start from Dieni. There are also winter hiking trails, if you want to explore the area by foot - I did the A. Talrunde Sedrun - Rueras, highly reccommed

Affordable but quite a dated hotel

It is quite cheap and was one of the very few places still available when we needed accommodation for extra nights last minute. The location is very good, too.

The hotel is located in a building where the ground floor restaurant has closed permanently and reception is not manned. As such, when we first arrived, it felt a bit abandoned. Things didn't improve as we got in and found the place relatively dated in decor, furniture was quite old but it wouldn't have been so bad had the mattress been better. Also, it didn't help that the room was not fully made when we arrived and had to call to get the manager to bring sheets for the bedding. He was very fast and nice about it but it all added to the feeling that the place had seen much better days.

A good place to stay for 1 night but I wouldn't recommend it for longer periods.

1. Clean room/bathroom 2. Relatively adequate price (for the area) during the season 3. Swift communication with the manager. 4. Hot water was always available and good water pressure. 5. Warm.

1. The Wi-Fi was a disaster. Mobile internet was 20 times faster. 2. I missed the microwave and/or other amenities. A kitchen zone would be beneficial considering there is no breakfast/no restaurant downstairs. 3 coffee capsules for 3 nights & 2 people. (do the calculations or remove them completely). No coffee cream was offered (even though it would cost nothing). So impossible to even have a proper coffee for breakfast. 3. No mini-fridge. 4. No cleaning without an additional fee. Don't get me wrong: I don't need my bedsheets to be changed daily... But another trashbag for a 3-night stay would be nice. Otherwise, I would need to buy a full pack of local trash bags. 5. Weird check-in & check-out times. Check-in is only after 16:00 (typically, it is 14:00 or 15:00). Check-out before 10:00 (again, typically it is 11:00 or even 12:00). That said, it is a weird mix On a side note (not a big minus since I didn't even expect it): The projector in the room was weirdly installed, I have spent a good hour setting it up only to find out I still cannot properly share the screen.

No more!

The parking space and the location.

When I booked, it was written that the hotel had a restaurant. Then I received a message less than one day before our arrival, saying that the restaurant was closed and no one would be there at the reception. But that was not the main problem. The room smelled (quite strongly) of cigarettes and it was in fact a communicating room, with only a closed door dividing the "2" rooms. The family in the "other" room was very noisy (and we heard every single word they said from our room) and there was a little baby who woke up and cried at least 4 times during the night... We left the hotel one day in advance. Terrible experience.

Veraltete Unterkunft mit schlechtem Preis-Leitung-Verhältnis

Die Zimmer waren sauber aber rochen nach Nikotin. Das Hotel liegt zentral. Nebenan ist ein Supermarkt. Die Unterkunft hat einen Aufzug.

Das Hotel wird bewirtschaftet mit minimalstem Aufwand, um maximalsten Ertrag zu erzielen. Wir waren froh, kurzfristig noch eine Unterkunft gefunden zu haben, aber das war's auch schon. Das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig. Ein sexuell sehr aktives Pärchen war in unserem Zimmer aber auch auf dem Flur detailliert hörbar (auch nachts um 1 Uhr). Deswegen vor allem mit Kindern, die davon geweckt wurden, nicht zu empfehlen. Folgendes ist uns ausserdem aufgefallen: - Die Stühle mit Stoffbezügen sind zerschlissen - Am Treppenabsatz lagen mehrere gefüllte Müllbeutel herum - das angebotene Frühstück (Bestellung auf's Zimmer) war nicht brauchbar. Wir haben uns vom Supermarkt nebenan versorgt (billiger und vielfältiger). - WLAN-Verbindung über WLAN-Verstärker (nur ein Router im 2.Stock) unbrauchbar, damit ist dieses Hotel als Arbeitsort nutzlos - Zimmer 9 stinkt nach Nikotin - Zimmer 2 hat eine kaputte Steckdose (neben der Durchgangstüre) - Zimmerservice (Mülleimer leeren) hat nicht funktioniert - Die Zimmer sind durchweg zu wenig beleuchtet (nur alte stoffbezogene Stehlampen oder alte Wand/Bettleuchten). - Bei starkem Schneefall mussten wir die Treppe und den Zugang zum Haus selber frei räumen

Schönes Zimmer, leider laut und kein WLAN.

Grosses Zimmer, Balkon mit sonniger Aussicht, Kaffemaschine (ohne Kapseln) und Frühstücksgedeck waren g’ok.Der geringe Verkehr an der Strasse störte nicht. Kurzfristige Buchung klappte gut, musste aber anrufen wegen fehlendem Code für Schlüssel.

Sehr hellhöriges Haus, wir verstanden jedes Wort in den Nebenzimmern und die Türen knallen. WLAN so langsam, dass es nur ab und zu läuft. Zu wenig Klopapier und kein Nachschub kam, trotz Anfrage. Total abgewetzte Stühle müsste man ersetzen.

Bullshit und Abzocke

Es gab nichts zu gefallen da man leider nicht in der Lage war eines unserer 2 gebuchten und vorab bezahlten Zimmer zur Verfügung zu stellen. Kommunikation mit dem nicht anwesenden Personal über Telefon war gar nicht möglich, über WhatsApp wurde nach Lust und Laune geantwortet.

Alles, totale Verarsche. Der gute Mann vertröstet uns erst auf 16 Uhr da das eine Zimmer um 16 Uhr check in Zeit nicht fertig war. Wir warteten 30 Minuten und als immernoch keine weitere Nachricht kam und wir nicht gewillt waren mit 4 Erwachsenen in einem Doppelbett zu schlafen fuhren wir weiter in ein anderes Hotel. Nach einer weiteren Stunde (!) wurde uns dann ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, dies hätte man auch schon um 16 Uhr anbieten können anstatt unsere Lebens-und Urlaubszeit zu verschwenden ! Was glauben diese Leute eigentlich wie lange man auf sein gebuchtes und bezahltes Zimmer wartet in seinem Urlaub ? Check in Zeit war ab 16 Uhr, da erwarte ich beide Zimmer bezugsfertig wenn man sich schon vorab bezahlen lässt ! Eine Frechheit , auch die Verweigerung der Rückzahlung! Reine Abzocke ! Nachtrag Oktober 2025: Mit Freuden haben wir gesehen, dass wir heute den Gesamtbetrag für diese Buchung zurück erhalten haben, nachdem wir über die Kreditkarte ein Chargeback-Verfahren eröffnen mussten, da der Hotelier sich geweigert hat, das Geld zurück zu überweisen. Rückzahlung + Lehrgeld obendrauf -das hätte einfacher gehen können. Hoch lebe Chargeback :)

Check-in ohne Probleme . Zimmer war klein aber gemütlich und nach hinten raus, daher ruhig.

Trotz der eher bescheidenen Zimmergrösse waren ein Tisch und zwei Stühle vorhanden, auch eine Möglichkeit für Tee- und Kaffeezubereitung.

Frühstück hätte bis 17.00 Uhr bestellt werden müssen, unsere Ankunft war später. Das Zimmer wirkte alt und abgewohnt (der Bezug der Stühle war z.B. zerschlissen). Kein Fernseher vorhanden, der versprochene Beamer war nicht auffindbar. Die Aussentür stand weit offen (durfte nicht geschlossen werden, damit man selber einchecken kann). Das vermittelte mir ein Gefühl der Unsicherheit. Es war okay für eine Nacht, aber ich würde es nicht noch einmal buchen.

В дозаторе закончилось мыло! Точнее оно не закончилось, там была обычная вода! Написал вечером в сообщениях на букинге, естественно никто не ответил, ответили только утром со словом "Хорошо". Сидели без какого-либо мыла/шампуня. Персоналу во время уборки стоит проверять наличие мыла в дозаторе, и если его нет, то доливать МЫЛО а не просто заливать туда ВОДУ вместо мыла.

Personne à l’accueil lors de notre arrivée pour récupérer la clé. Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec 3 autres personnes à ne pas savoir comment récupérer notre clé. Impossible de joindre qui que ce soit. Mail d’information reçu très tardivement pour avoir l’information de notre numéro de chambre. La chambre était bien mais les chaises très usées même déchirées. L’interrupteur à l’entrée de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas.

Zufrieden mit unserer Übernachtung

Die Lage ist zentral, Zimmer für 3 Personen war gross, Bettwäsche und Tücher waren von sehr gutem Qualität. Es gibt ein Balkon mit Aussischt. Für 1-2 Nächte ist das Hotel sehr gut. Self check-in war sehr easy :)) ich habe so was noch nie erlebt:) ich würde in diesem Hotel für 1 Nacht auf dem Weg gerne wieder bleiben.

Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Als wir in der Nacht angereist sind, waren die Nachbaren bereits am Schlafen aber sonst hört man alles. Möbel im Zimmer ist in die Jahre gekommen. Leider war die Kommunikation mit dem Manager erschwert. Auf booking.com stand Familienzimmer aber auf dem Foto gibt es kein drittes Bett, sondern steht "babycot available". Wir waren 3 Erwachsene. Der Manager hat mit Abstand von 1 Sunde geantwortet, nicht begrüsst im Message, kein Danke. Nicht von berühmtes Swiss hospitality.

Der im Gebäude befindliche Grill bietet ein ausgewogenes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Die angebotene Frühstücksoption bedeutet: sich das Frühstück aufs Zimmer liefern zu lassen. Einen Frühstücksraum gibt's nicht. Das Mobiliar war doch recht in die Jahre gekommen.

Infelizmente a recepção não faz jus ao apartamento. É pequena, suja, de difícil acesso (escada para subir com as malas) e não tem recepcionista. Chegamos, estávamos sem rede de dados, e se não fosse a boa vontade do estabelecimento vizinho, não teríamos conseguido acessar o check in (se dá apenas pela internet, é impossível de antecipar o msm)

We konden last-minute boeken en het was een zelf check-in. Dit was ideaal voor onze overnachting tijdens een doorreis.

Het personeel was niet echt te bereiken. Het was voor ons niet duidelijk of wij na middernacht konden inchecken, dus zochten we hierom contact. Maar dit lukte niet. Maar na middernacht inchecken is wel gelukt.

Zweckmäßig ausbaufähig.

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an der Hauptverkehrsstraße und ist ein ehemaliges Hotel, was Zimmer anbietet, aber kein Personal vor Ort ist. Die Zimmer sind groß, geräumig und auch sauber. Die Schlüssel befinden sich im Eingangsbereich innen, zu denen jeder immer Zugang hat, da die Türe immer offen steht - auch Nachts.

Achtung versteckte Gebühren! Mir wurden bei einer Umbuchung des Tages 30 Fr. extra als Reinigungsgebühr berechnet mit der Begründung dass sich Gäste für einen Tag nicht mehr lohnen. Ich habe gesehen aktuell das die Gebühr wieder heraus genommen wurde. Dies finde ich einfach wirklich schade, wenn Anbieter bei Booking.com versuchen mit solchen Mitteln Geld zu machen. Von daher ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für die Art von Unterkunft einfach absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Es fehlen die Balkonmöbel auf dem Balkon. Der Lichtschalter ins Zimmer hinein hat nicht funktioniert und man musste im Dunkeln versuchen zum Nachttisch Licht zu kommen.

Mai successo prima!!

È da tanti anni che viaggio e sono molto arrabbiato per quanto accaduto. Sono arrivato presso la struttura, ho effettuato il self check-in e sono entrato dalla porta principale come indicato nell’e-mail. Secondo l’e-mail, la mia stanza assegnata era la numero 8, ma purtroppo la chiave indicata non era presente. Ho chiamato il numero indicato almeno 6 volte e suonato il campanello altrettanto senza mai avere una risposta. A dirla tutta mentre scrivo questa recensione ancora non mi ha contattato nessuno! Ho provato a raggiungere la stanza numero 8, ma la porta era chiusa e non sono riuscito ad entrare. Sono rimasto ad aspettare fino alle 22:34, dopodiché ho preso un’altra stanza a caso. Quella stanza era sporca, i letti erano già stati usati e c’era una tazza di caffè ancora piena. Ho dovuto dormire in un letto già utilizzato e usare un bagno che chiaramente non era stato pulito. Assurdo!!!! Chiederò il rimborso totale a Booking
