Nice place to stay

My room had a mountain view. The room is cozy and clean. The food at the restaurant is really good!

It is an uphill walk from the funicular station to the hotel. It is not convenient with heavy luggage.

Stunning Stoos and great hospitality from Silke, Ed and the Stoos Hutte team

We absolutely loved everything about Stoos Hutte! We think that our room had the best views from the whole village, as this place is in a more elevated position than other properties. The room was fun as there was a double bed and then an area accessible via a ladder where there were four more beds. Silke, Ed and the team were really welcoming, hospitable and the food was delicious.

Nothing - we just wish that we could have stayed longer !

Beautiful stay in Stoos

The views are stunning. The hotel is located on top of the town ensuring unobstructed views of the mountains and the tranquility of the countryside. The food is beautiful. I had dinner twice and absolutely loved the veal rosti. Whilst the room is very maximised in terms of space the beds are super comfy and the shower powerful. The best is the staff though. So welcoming, kind and accommodating. They had a table secured for me every night despite of being open to the public and they offered me towels for me and my dog when we arrived soaked the first day :)

It’s not that I don’t like them but people need to know :) The hotel is on a very steep hill with gravel. If you come with suitcase don’t bother yourself and take a taxi in and out. I did the hill with a heavy suitcase but I wished I didn’t 😅 The shower is very strong but water can quickly spill outside the shower. Watch out :)

Pleasant stay overall for a night.

Friendly and hospitable staff. The views around you were magnificent.

The location being on the top of a hill witha steep incline. The path to the accommodation is gravel, so if you're thinking about bringing a trolly, thing twice, otherwise you'll have to carry it up and down.

Incredible location with amazing staff and facilities

Staff is amazing. They are very polite and helpful. Breakfast was great. And the big highlight is the location and nature, which is simply breathtaking. Granted, it is a bit of hike from the village center but it is higher up with incredible views and much more peaceful/quiet vs the center. The restaurant food was also really good and everything was fresh and delicious. Lastly, the rooms have a very nice design, very efficient use of the space and very comfortable, super clean.

The only thing was that during our stay (end July) there were a lot of flies both outside and inside the hotel. It is to be expected as there are lots of cows in their natural habitat and not much can be done for outside but the hotel might be able to prevent the ones inside the common areas/restaurant with simple solutions like putting a few fans.

Breathtaking views and the perfect place to explore Stoos

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs as a family. They were very attentive to our trip as well as our excursion to the mountains and helped us figuring out the best way to spend our time there. The food was really good, which we needed after a long day out. The hotel has a playground which was very well used by our kids.

The room is very small for a family of 4 with luggage, however it was very clean and comfortable. The walk from the funicular is substancial if you have had a long day or have heavy luggage. Yet the location is great if you are taking the lift to the mountains or catching the hiking trails.

It’s ok

It was suppose to be the room but the picture and reality was a little different 😅

During summer the flies gets into the restaurant and we couldn’t sit and eat. So, we needed to take the food to the room. Plus CHF20 for breakfast. Booking said it was included but I actually paid CHF20 and if I knew I would have omitted the breakfast and save CHF20

Stunning views with clean but basic rooms

The view was astounding, it was so peaceful and beautiful. The staff were kind and friendly and the food they served was simple but delicious. The rooms were spacious and cozy, I loved the fresh wood smell. The bathrooms were big with great showers.

We didn't realize it was a 20 minute uphill hike from the funicular station, luckily we only brought small backpacks but that walk would have been awful with a suitcase on the stone road. There also wasn't any tea or coffee making facilities

Luxury mountain hut experience:)

Property is directly on the slope! Getting up is quite an adventure already😍 if u are a skier can use a tbar lift or can rent a moutaint taxi- cool experience for family:) you can also walk up the slope but it is quite steep. The best part is after 17 when all skiers are gone you have this quite place surrounded by mountains and forest to yourself! View from the window is amazing .

Awesome marketing team, nice atmosphere but zero tranquillity

The stuff is amazing they do everything you ask for, very helpful and very hostile. The hotel is welcoming its guests from any background and treats everyone equally, which is very good. The food in the restaurant is very quickly cooked and served, it is a bonus too.

My room was too noisy at day and at night around 23.40 there were the snow machines driving around like crazy all two nights I stayed at the hotel. I did not mention I want a quiet room, so they just gave me one above the reception and the entrance. Nice view to the slopes but no solitude I was seeking.

Staff is friendly. Views are very nice. The place is small but cozy.

The only way to get there is by a ridiculously expensive taxi service (30 francs for a literally 2 minute distance) the Hüttä is otherwise impossible to reach by foot with luggage, ski equipment, small children etc. Unfortunately the hotel does not provide any assistance. The room, although clean and relatively new, is WAY SMALLER in reality than what they make it look like on pictures.

Great location, helpful staff & comfortable room

Great place and location , super helpful and friendly staff - I checked in and stayed up on the ridge for sunset and hiked down in the dark, got to the Hut late but was soo hungry, the staff did tell me the kitchen was closed but were so kind ! They rustled me up a platter of cheese, salami and bread and I had a drink - all much needed and was so thankful they helped me out ! Breakfast is tasty and the ice cream dish I had before hiking. A pleasant stay would recommend ! Views are gorgeous

i like the wooden design of the room. also the great window view, especially in dining area, the window is just like a painting.

to reach to the hotel is a bit tired, the slope is not easy for a city girl. but if you are active, not an issue. there's no water boiler neither mugs in the room, but you can asked for hot water downstairs before 20:00.

For the price (160chf a day) this was an excellent stay. Breakfast is included (just don't expect much food variety). The room was clean with a mountain view and cow bell sound at night.

Property is located on the top of ski lift which gives a fantastic view of the Village and Mountains. Cleanliness, Staffs and Big windows for mountain view in rooms.
