Was nice for a one time stay

It was a nice resort and it was quiet for the most part but we could hear people walking with loud footsteps, likely with all of the concrete.

The towels were small and scratchy and we only received one each. You can put two per person with a message if not used leave on the rack or something vs. one small towel. If I wash my hair I prefer one to dry off and one to put on my hair.

Great location, clean, quiet room.

Very close to the hiking trail. Beautiful scenery. We arrived early but were able to leave our bags even though we couldn’t check in.

Well, it was somewhat expensive - like everything else in Switzerland. 😕 It might be more efficient, but the automated check in is a little impersonal.

Great weekend relaxing and hiking in Stoos!

We had a great stay in Stoos with our 4 years old boy. The hotel is perfect for families thanks to: various entertainments (spielraum, billard/darts room, day care), restaurant menu adapted for kids. The hotel location is perfect, just right from the funicular station and with straight-forward access to the main hiking trails. A special mention to the pizzas of the restaurant: perhaps the best we have ever had!

The toilets/bathrooms in a room are lacking privacy. It is impossible to isolate from the main room, and you have to choose between either closing the shower door or the toilets door, as they have the same sliding door. We also noticed the lack of small little things in the room like a kettle, some glasses, not to mention a fridge. The furnishing is really minimalist. Although the staff was always friendly and helpful, a lot of things are now automated (e.g. check-in/check-out) so the experience can be a bit impersonal.

Great location and hotel. We will for sure return

The room was amazing and staff were extremely helpful with the check in process and any questions we had. The location is also perfect for day hikes and also the Fitness/Spa area are top standard! Breakfast was also fantastic!

Having to pay for the gondola/funicular up to the hotel is a bit ridiculous. It adds an additional bonus costs which even though we were informed, should be really included for hotel guests, as the rooms are not cheap. The concept of ''paying for what you use'' is smart, but if you stay for several nights they charge you to ''refresh'' the room. This makes no sense to us. If you have X for the first night and you get a clean room then you have to pay the same price for the next night with a room which isn't refreshed, you should either have a discount on your room rate for the second night or atleast the option to say no to a refresh. Besides that, everything was amazing, just these two points stuck in our minds.

Great place to stay in the Swiss Alps for nature and hiking!

This lodge still had a brand new feel to it. The rooms are nicely appointed and the staff was very helpful in answering our questions. The views are amazing as well!

We made a reservation for dinner at the lodge and our waiter was not very friendly plus they were clearing the tables of the night time set up while we were eating. There weren't too many people eating that the restaurant either.

Room was nice size and lounge sitting area is nice, having the place to store luggage was good

Restaraunt was okay but there could be better fly management. I think staff while sincere were not too proactive, the A/C for our room did not work, it was fine and we slept with window open but there was a reluctance to take the feedback "the A/C didn't work and go sort it out. Same when we asked for conditioner, we said we would pick it up from front, they said no we can deliver but after 40 min had to call them again. Training staff would help with all this.

We loved the children's playground

It was not bad, there was no mini bar or kettle in the rooms, which was a big drawback. Also, going to the hotel only by funicular is not worth paying extra, it is boring for me. It is extra expensive.

Amazing location with gorgeous views and a spa-like experience after hiking all day.

Loved the location right next to the Stoosbahn, amazing views from our room and the sauna right in the room. Check-in was super easy and dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Also an easy walk to the cable cars up to stoos ridge and near idyllic little playgrounds. Beds were super comfy and the whole place was modern and quiet but cozy.

The bed was very comfortable! The self check in and out was nice, but I can see it being confusing for older people.

Perfect stay in the Swiss mountains.

Location, clean, the view, the quietness, the great taste for how the entire hotel is designed. The staff is very friendly and professional. The breakfast was excellent, I appreciate the choice of lactose-free and vegan milk, like oat milk, which is very considerate to people lactose-intolerant.

Wouldn’t say “ didn’t like” but more as a constructive comment, property description mention English and Germain speaking but staff isn’t fluent with English; most of the times it was a guessing game between staff members and I ; everything from ordering at the restaurant, the bar, asking questions about the room. Every information card, notices on the wall, instructions were in Germain only. I was very pleased with my stay and that wouldn’t be something that won’t make me come back but I think it’s worth knowing for English/ French only speaking people

Very sterile. Like a James Bond captor’s cell. Antithesis of Swiss hospitality. Covid “no human “ interaction to extreme. Staff, behind curtain, is great,when needed. Could rent coffee machine at 15 SF. Very odd setup with bathroom- absolutely no privacy- no door sepating room from bath- awkward, even if traveling with partner. Room is very sterile. No windows - just sliding doors- design is odd for mountain hotel in switzerland. The Stoos village branding of bright yellow and red is glaringly

Perfect location right next to the station with amazing views

The location right next to the station was perfect. We arrived before check in time and were able to drop our suitcases off in a secure room & go and explore. The room was luxurious and the view across the mountains was amazing.

The choices in the restaurant weren’t vast & there was no local food offered, but it was very nice & reasonably priced. There was no kettle in the room which was a pain as we do like a cuppa in the morning.

Superb

The location is excellent, direct access to the funicular, about 10 mins walk to the little lake and similar walk time to the chair lifts that takes you up to the mountain peak, the lodge is extremely extremely child friendly which is amazing - free day care in the months of july august, a big indoor fun park, and kids buffet included, the rooms & bathroom are very spacious, nice modern design, lovely views The young waiter who took care of our table during dinner was very efficient, welcoming and very friendly

I bought a room with AC and didn’t get one.

The simplicity of the room was nice. The balcony/view from the room was great and there was easy self check in. Some staff were helpful. Sauna and workout amenities were great.

I booked a room with A/C and it didn’t work. They didn’t seem too apologetic or helpful since it was 70 degrees outside. But when you sleep with the doors open you get bugs and hear cowbells and everyone outside at all hours. Some staff were rude.

An exceptional experience

Stoos Lodge was more than what we imagined! The rooms are very spacious, clean and the views were breathtaking! We had an XL family room (two rooms), which was more than enough space for us with our babies. Two baby cots were setup at no additional cost and they were setup with beautiful linens and the cutest vanity kit for each of our babies. The food at breakfast was very good to with a great selection as was dinner. We will definitely return to Stoos Lodge to experience it in the winter
