Very nice and likely to come again

Spacious and clean rooms, very quiet and very friendly staff. the dinner was very nice and I can especially recommend the excellent gooseberry pie with their local grown gooseberries. The bread at the breakfast table was tasty and crunchy

A bit more fresh fruit at the breakfast buffet would have been nice.

Minimalistic almost diet-like breakfast buffet. 1dl of yoghurt in a bowl had to be shared with all other guests. The assorted local cheeses were fantastic, also the home-made bread was delicious. But no local Salsiz or Bünderfleisch, no meat at all. Not even put on sale as an extra. Eggs had to be ordered separately. They could only make 3 minute eggs. Fried eggs are not possible, they told us

Ruhiges, mehrsprachiges Kulturhotel in wildromantischer Umgebung. Schön gestaltete Zimmer, Bibliothek mit Selfservice und sehr gutes Essen mit lokalen Produkten. Freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung und angenehme Atmosphäre.

Nach drei Tagen war die Zeit schon vorbei, der Aufenthalt war zu kurz.

Die Kosten für die holzbeheizte Sauna liegen mit 25CHF pro Person meines Erachtens sehr hoch.
