Not a place I would stay again take to my wife.

Breakfast was good but not up to Swiss standards…People were friendly but could not communicate in English.

Room was closed off when we got there at 8pm. We had to sleep with a window open because of the heat, there were 6 four story noisy apartments buildings behind and below? The bathroom was so small you could sit on the commode, take a shower and brush you teach all at the same time…did not realize no internet. Should have been advertised as a hostel. $146chf… Price was too high for the amenities. And I have traveled for a-living worldwide.

Lovely view, great (!) food in the restaurant, simple rooms, but what is really outstanding are the two host! Thank you for the warm welcome (and the Nutella you bought just for me for the second breakfast :)

The food, the view, and the host are spectacular! Truly amazing! We arrived around 9:30 pm and the host was kind enough to make us dinner. The pesto pasta was amazing.

If you have roller bags, call the host for a ride up to the hotel if you are coming in by train. There is a taxi in Desentis, but the stop before Desentis (coming from Brig) is closer to the hotel.

Gemütlicher Kurzaufenthalt in der Surselva

Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in der Surselva! Durch den herzlichen, familiären Empfang des Personals und den gutmütigen Hund namens Buddy, fühlt man sich gleich wohl und willkommen 👍 Die Zimmer sind geräumig eingerichtet mit Platz auch für längere Ferien. Einige Zimmer sind noch nicht renoviert, aber sehr sauber und in einem guten Zustand. Alles funktioniert und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche übrig☺️ Gerne wieder, einen Aufenthalt kann ich nur empfehlen!

Gemütliches Hotel mit herzlichem Service

Ich war hier für zwei Nächte zu Gast und habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer war zwar etwas älter eingerichtet – eine Modernisierung der Zimmer ist bereits in Planung – aber alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück und das Essen waren wirklich lecker, und das gesamte Team war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist gemütlich, mit einem ganz besonderen Charme – nicht zuletzt dank Hotelhund Buddy. Ein wirklich angenehmer Aufenthalt, den ich gerne weiterempfehle.
