Basic but good.

Good location if you want to go to Barmouth for the day it’s only a ten minute drive, Harlech and Porthmadog also not too far away. Nice county pub up the road in Talybont (10 min walk up from the site). Beach down the road too and other facilities at other nearby caravan sites. Caravan was basic but that’s all you need when you’re mostly out all day. Got it warm even in December. Took our own sleeping bags and towels. Shower works great. Appreciate it being dog friendly too.

Felt like it could do with a deep clean. Couldn’t get the satellite or internet to work during our stay so was a little bored a the evenings.

Price needs to be reduced to reflect the poor quality of the facilities.

The location

The facilities were basic. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The kettle didn’t work and one of the saucepans was filthy. All of the blinds needed attention.

affordable, novel experience for foreign visitor

no heating - We could smell the gas but would not ignite and central heating did not work. we were told no linen at last minute so made things awkward for a foreign traveller no towels available and no mention that there will be no towels - I had to go buy a towel the site advertised a heated indoor pool but when we went to reception we were not allowed access as we were not members as per advert on booking.com - no mention of costs Leisure Facilities: Guests can enjoy a sauna, sun terrace, and a heated indoor swimming pool. Additional amenities include a steam room, children's playground, and an outdoor play area. Free on-site parking is available. in landlords response to my complaint was to contact her - How - no cell number available on booking.com. not all of us have email on our cell phones

However, it was comfortable and the weather was great.

A review on the website said that bed linen was supplied, nicely wrapped, but we didn't have any or towels. There was a dirty mug and pans. Plates still had a label on the back.
