Goronwy Cottage

Great location and just what we wanted for our stay was clean and loads of room

All 7 of us could stay together in one house. We all had an amazing time doing things together or in little groups.

The only thing was getting use to the stairs going back up to the house. It took a few days but we all managed well

The views and the large dining space . I was nice to have a fire. Good kitchen facilities.

A lot of the facilities are elderly. The varanda for example .

The cottage was amazing! There was everything we needed and more. Goronwy cottage has such character, felt cosy, homely, and provided breath-taking views of Barmouth. Waking up to the sound of the sea was one of my favourite parts. The log fire was a hit on an evening, it would warm up the whole house! The terrace to the right of the property is such a great place to grab a drink, relax, and take in the views. Definitley recommend the Indian restaurant called Saffron! The food was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were so friendly. You can choose to sit in or have a takeaway! The cottage is located right by the town, making it handy to get to the shops and enjoy a bit of shopping! "Tal Y Don", "The Last Inn" and "The Tillman" are 3 of our favourite pubs to visit. I'd also recommend a walk down the sea front to "Min Y Mor" if you fancy a nice little stroll and a drink with a beautiful sea view. Our family all enjoyed our stay and have said we would definitely recommend this property to everyone! Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable, we have made such lovely memories here.

Amazing location with great facilities. Lovely house with so much atmosphere. Lots of board games available for young and old to entertain us when weather is bad, with lots to do in town when its dry.

Information on where to park using parkingcard could have been clearer. One room not vacuumed properly ( I found a large bunch of hair under the nightstand). But all in all very clean.

The property is full of character and cosy ,the views of the sea and mountains are beautiful. Looking forward to returning in the future.

The steps up to the property are a little uneven but this is in keeping with the character of the cottage.

Everything! Comfy beds, great kitchen and living room. Lovely to have a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Views are great!
