Everything was good except the bed and the safety aspect of the ladder.

The bed is too close to the ceiling. It’s feels claustrophobic my wife couldn’t sleep up there. I had to no choice.When you come down the ladder backwards you can’t see the steps a bit to dangerous I think. Should have looked at pictures of property more carefully first.

Glan Meon Cottage, Barmouth

Great location, close to the town, but still very quiet and peaceful. The cottage was superb and very well maintained and very clean.

The access in terms of unloading your car is not the best, and we could probably have a little more warning before arrival, but we dealt with it ok when we arrived and also upon leaving. Also, a suggestion that may help future guests, maybe consider swapping the tv and sofa so that access can be gained to the bathroom when someone is laid back on the sofa.

Hidden gem in old Barmouth

What a gem. Tucked away in old Barmouth but close to everything. The property is spotlessly clean with everything that you could need. It retains an old world charm with lovely beams. Comfy sofa to cosy up and watch tv. Great pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. Walking uphill gets you to the national trust park with amazing views. Nicely decorated for Christmas. We'd like to return in warmer weather to enjoy sitting outside on the little terrace.

Lovely little cottage, warm and cozy. Perfectly located in the heart of Barmouth, yet very quiet. Ideal for walks. Only 2 or 3 minutes walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

This little cottage is an absolute gem 💎 it had everything you needed, was so cosy, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location in Barmouth!. Lovely little welcome card and complimentary essentials from the host. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

We couldn't fault anything l, but speaking for my dog, she wasn't a fan of the stairs to the bed! But at least it kept her in her own bed for a few nights which is a win win for us!

the unique set up, how tiny it is but great use of space and everything you need is there! perfect location

the checkout time was 10 which I thought was pretty early and as we were running 5 minutes late leaving the owner/cleaner came knocking which made us panic and rush so much, put a downer on the holiday and was a little pricey for 2 nights

Beautifully presented and finished to a very high standard. Pictures do not do the cottage justice . Lovely gifts on arrival which were not expected. Very homely . Great location for getting around and using as a base. Very quiet and friendly neighbours . My daughter loved “sleeping in the air “ !

Impeccably clean and had really good bits and pieces in the kitchen….perfect set up. Plenty of space for two people.

It’s a bit of a trek with all your bags (only needed at the start and end of the holiday though so would not put me off rebooking). Bed is much closer to the ceiling than the pictures make it look.
