From Bangor to Barmouth we go

The house was lovely, in an ideal location, a stones throw from the sea front. All facilities in the house were ideal, only two of us on this hol but the house sleeps 6. Three bedrooms, big bathroom with shower and bath, big kitchen with table that sits 6, cooker, microwave, washing machine, hoover. Secure garden and even a hot tub ready for use. Parking right outside the property. We enjoyed it here very much and would highly recommend this property. Was very clean and tidy with bedding and towels. If we stay in Barmouth again we would definitely look to stay here again.

There was nothing that we didnt like, except that it came to an end 😢

Lovely house, great features for cooking and relaxing, in a quiet area, close to beach and town.

Location was great only a short walk to the sea and to the town which has lots of places to eat and drink. Cooking facilities were good and nice to have enough crockery etc for the stated number of guests. Beds were very comfy. Hot tub was great but see below.

We arrived at stated check in time (4pm) after a long hike and hot tub was only at 32 degrees and did not get to temperature until 9pm - apparently this is to do with the cold and the heat pump - this was frustrating as it was part of the reason in choosing this house. For some reason this was the same the following day - on our last day however the tub was lovely and hot on our return form our walk and a great size for our family. The toilet being in the only bathroom was not very convenient for a house of 5 adults, would benefit from a separate WC. Fridge did not have a compartment in the door to stand up bottles/cartons etc so you could not store milk, wine or juice upright in the fridge

Great place to stay close to the beach.

Really great location, 1 minute from the beach and a short walk into town. Very clean and comfortable property with everything we needed and the hot tub was a massive bonus. We had a lovely stay.

Very minor thing, the tap in the kitchen didn't stop dripping which was a bit annoying.

Super stay in Barmouth , would recommend Swyn y Mor to anyone , especially with dogs!!

Location was a quiet residential street with ample parking, within few minutes walk to village centre . Only a 2 minute walk to Barmouth beach , very dog friendly at this time of year . Ideal base to explore Barmouth area , or stay in and around town . Swyn y Mor had everything we expected , great for our dogs , and good communication from great hosts !!

This is our SECOND trip to Swyn y Mor and as always it was truly wonderful 😊 The location is absolutely perfect, the house is always clean and well equipped, with everything you need for a home from home stay. Sam is attentive and at the end of the phone if needed. The garden is great, enclosed for dogs and the hot tub is just amazing, great to hop into after a long day exploring. We absolutely love Barmouth, it's our happy place, and if this house is available it will always be our go to place to stay. Walking distance to the main area where all the shops, eateries and arcades are. Literally a 2 minute walk to the beach, which is absolutely beautiful 😍 You honestly could not ask for anything more! If you want a beautiful place to stay, in a perfect location! Swyn y Mor is the one to book. See you next year Sam! Thank you again for a wonderful stay 💕

Fabulous stay ! Very comfortable bed so great sleep & location is brilliant!

Very pet friendly & fully enclosed garden which is a must for us ! Fantastic location just literally few minutes walk to the beach. Clean & tidy property & nice to have tea/coffee/sugar also a bottle of Prosecco left in the fridge which was great ! Sam messaged us to see if all was ok & it was !

Excellent location, close to the beach. Clean and well equipped property- perfect getaway with dog.

The house was spotless and very cosy. We loved the hot tub and the host left a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely gesture. The location was amazing within a 5 minute walk of the beach and 15 minutes to the town centre. Would recommend staying here as a family holiday. kids loved it and was a great getaway.

Parking is tight but is expected to be like that in a small busy town. No issues with our stay.

Great location, didn't use car until left for home again! Nice and clean. Hot tub is lovely addition for the evenings. Comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen.

Knew Barmouth and picked location for beach walks and places to visit in the area

Self catering Good location for beach walks for the pet and for day trips exploring an AONB

Hot Tub was not required, but that was just not our requirement, not a criticism. The grassed garden patch would have been nicer if the grass has been cut, but this could be to do with the time of year? TV was far too big to watch comfortably and there were no terrestrial channels to watch, of an evening. Only internet. But, again, later in the year, TV wouldn't have been a requirement

Perfect dog-friendly haven.

The location is perfect within easy reach of the beach and the predominantly dog friendly town. The house itself is comfortable and well equipped, just don't forget that the visitors' guide is emailed to you on booking, like I did. It is very comprehensive and helps with everything you might need. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is very welcome at the end of the day.

the property is amazing and has excellent facilities! even better it being dog friendly. The host is very good with communication and have stayed with the previously and will stay again with her :) it was nice just to get away after losing a family member and just be so,where that feels like home from home.

Nice house for a short break. Maybe not the best location for longer.

We didn't stay long so didn't take full advantage of the hot tub. But the house was lovely and clean. Nice touches with the welcome gifts and beds very comfy.

Although the location is very close to the beach, parking is very limited. As a group of 4 all coming from different places in separate cars no-one managed to park within sight of the house and the road itself is very tight. 2 parked cars on the road had damage and notes left on them where someone had hit them. Also the train track is VERY close and sounds its horn early morning ( before 8) and late at night (after 10)

The house was lovely and very well appointed with an excellent location. The hot tub was the icing on the cake with the prosecco and chocolates the cherry on top!

An amazing find in Barmouth!

Oh my … we loved our stay at this property! it was so lovely, spotlessly clean, fully equipped and modern. The house was cosy warm and the beds and pillows so comfortable. The hot tub was amazing , perfect size for 4 of us with space to spare. The enclosed garden was great for our dog and she loved the home too. We fell in love with Barmouth and will definitely return. Sam the host was easy to contact and was so lovely. She sorted out our queries quickly and we really appreciated the gift basket left for us which was an appreciated touch. Thank you for an amazing stay!
