Absolutely amazing home! Wonderful host

Wonderful host, kept myself in the loop with the key code, all the directions on how to get to the property. Any information I needed she supplied. Gorgeous little gem, was very clean, perfect for a family. Perfect location right in the city center. Provided us with a parking permit. Filly equipped little house.

Uncomfortable mattress

Very conveniently located. Very well presented and clean

The mattress on the double bed had springs sticking up which i could trace with my finger and were sticking into me. After 1 hour of trying to sleep with pillows under me, I gave up and slept on the couch. A decent mattress, to me, is the very basic requirement of guest accommodation. I would not recommend this to anyone

Great location, not suitable for everyone!

Great location, in the middle of town so can walk to everything and directly opposite beach. 3 separate bedrooms so good with kids.

Very very dark, views of walls from each window so no natural light. Ok for 1 night. Slight damp smell in kitchen, no lamps worked in bedrooms. Boiler kept switching on at odd times so heating on full blast in the night. Noise from pub next door and the use of bins directly in front of property.

We loved our stay here, had everything we needed.

Ot was immaculately clean inside! Had everything we needed in the kitchen including some oil, salt etc to use. Was very thankful there was a bit of shampoo and conditioner too as I’d forgotten that! Thanks Debbie!

For my personal taste the double bed mattress was too hard and could do with a topper but I know some people prefer a firm mattress! Not the owners fault but the alleyway to the properties was full of cigarette butts and rubbish (probably blows in) so that was a shame.

Location was fantastic, less than a minute’s walk to the harbour. Located just off one of the main streets with a good range of independent shops and eateries. Right next to to the Barmouth Bar & Grill. Having said that the cottage was really quiet, it must be the thick stone walls.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to book again

We liked the location of the property as it was close to the harbour and the shops. It was easy to find and not too far from the train station. We found the property clean and very welcoming and would certainly book again.

We both felt that the stairs in the property could be made safer by having a handrail on the wall as well as the existing bannister

Very nice, clean well kept house in the middle of Barmouth. Perfect for a couple of nights near the seaside.

Right in the middle of Barmouth town so easy to get to all of Barmouth. Very nice property overall, surprising space once you enter the property, wouldn’t think it was much just from outside.

2 flights of stairs to 2 bedrooms made things a little more difficult. (Not a major issue though.) No parking outside of property so car was left in public car park a fair few minutes away which is a little unnerving, especially over night.

Cosy, central house.

Being right in the town centre, you are close to everything and it is quiet at night which is excellent for such a central location. There house had everything we needed including washing up liquid, tea and coffee, a hairdryer and nice big fluffy bath sheets. The parking permit was also good although it's a way from the nearest car park so we ended up putting money on the car to start with anyway. Good to have Disney plus available on the TV and a box of games in the cupboard.

No parking at all at the property and the car park was too far for my elderly parents to cart all the stuff back and forth that we took with us. It was also rather dark in the lounge. The tv could do with being on a bracket above the table to let more light in the window.

Ideal location and excellent set up with the parking pass. Nice layout to the property, a little snug but fine for a family of 4 or less.

A little basic but I wasn’t expecting 5 star facilities.

The location is fantastic for the beach. The house is very cosy and had all the facilities that we needed. Car parking pass was very helpful.

The main bed was small, and the mattress was incredibly hard. The settee was uncomfortable and needed to be constantly readjusted.

Close to town, harbour and sea.. Owner was very understanding about a breakage that we reported and we of course replaced the item before vacating the property.

Limited restricted parking (1hr) nearby so long enough to unload/load baggage. Longstanding free car parking along the whole seafront has disappeared and is now charged for. There is a main car park long and short stay. No mobile phone service inside the property (emergency calls only) due to the big rock behind the house. None of that is the owners fault. Phone reception good around town.

The alleyway up to the property really needs tidying up. There is an unpleasant smell of disinfectant each time you enter the property.The blinds need fixing to let in more natural light the tv could go on the table not the windowsill.
