Lovely property in a fantastic location.

Fantastic location, welcome pack was lovely. Spacious and comfortable.

There was construction work going on at the property for the first few days. My partner is disabled and we didn’t realise how many stairs there was to access the property. There was no hoover so we couldn’t clean up properly.

Comfortable and relaxing stay in a superb location.

Great location in the centre of Barmouth. Great views of the harbour and Cadair Idris from the lounge, and of the seagull nests and chicks from the bedrooms. Dishwasher was good! Beds were comfortable. The car park was nearby, so parking was not a problem with the permit, which we also used in Harlech.

Despite having the instructions, we couldn't get to grips with the microwave, and I would have liked a small milk pan to make porridge (had to use said microwave instead!).

Barmouth, our happy place 😀

The apartment was really comfortable, clean and very spacious. All the amenities that you would need for a long weekend. Beautiful views of the harbour from most windows. Had been left a lovely welcome pack with a bottle of wine and tea, coffee, milk and sugar which was a lovely touch. The 2 parking permits are very handy and will save you alot of money on the car parks. We have stayed in the Emerald Suite below the Rose suite and they are both amazing apartments, we will be back 😀

A very late check in at 4pm, and early check out at 10am. This could be changed to 2pm check in as you feel you get robbed for your first day!

Sand, sea and mountains!

Amazing location! Whilst you don’t get parking at the property, it’s worth the short walk to the car-park to be so close to the town centre. The views are amazing too. The property is clean and comfortable and has a lovely homely feel to it.

We love everything about this property! It was our second stay here and we’re already planning the third.

Amazing, owners helpful when we had issues and quickly resolved would return in a heart beat.

The peacefulness even though the other two apartments were booked, everyone was respectful. The layout of the accommodation was well done and very spacious.

Would of been great if we could of stored the pushchairs down stairs folded as with two young children this was often a challenge, but we were aware of the steps just didn’t realise the amount of steps.

The apartment was spacious, well furnished, well equipped and exceptionally clean.

Nice good place

Place was nice plenty of space and good bedrooms I would stay here again

The place could do with a coat of paint lots of marks on the walls looks a little tatty. Need sharper knives for kitchen as couldn't cut a sausage with the ones there. The fire doors were really heavy my mom whos in her 60s struggled with them

Fantastic location for a family trip to Barmouth. We had a lovely week. The apartment was clean, well equipped and suited our needs perfectly. We will definitely return in 2024!

The microwave needs replacing, but that’s being hypercritical! Everything else was spot on :)

Home from home 💞

Myself & my children felt so at home this last week. There was a hiccup with the previous guests not leaving the key to the first door, however, after contacting the number provided upon booking we were able to gain entry very quickly & professionally. There was a lovely welcome pack, there was a slight issue with a shower leak but that was dealt with instantly. Facilities were exceptionally clean & easily accessible I really did not want to come home. I will definitely be booking again in the near future. Great service & great place to stay. You can see the promenade from your windows & can hear the waves at night, it truly was the best stay I've ever had in Barmouth & I've been visiting since I was old enough to walk. Thank you so so much.

The stairs to get into the apartment was a struggle when you're on your own with 4 children, a lift or stair lift would be amazing, my mum couldn't come visit as she struggles with mobility which was a shame but that is no fault of the property or the people that let it out at all!

Great, but could be improved

Apartment well presented and clean. Views very good, warm and cozy, everything worked.

Had to wait for 30 minutes on the doorstep as someone had removed the key from the key safe, The heavy fire doors were a bit annoying, more latches or wedges to keep them open would have been great. Quite a lot of steps, not suitable for elderly or heavy luggage. Some of the pillows weren't great and parking was a bit of a faff, but the parking permit was a definite plus.

I have mobility issues so wasn't great but did get me moving more so ended up as a positive, had trouble getting into front door as key safe was low down and couldn't see it properly to get code in between 2 of us we managed.

amazing holiday made even better with a nice homely place to stay

stayed with my family for 4 nights.. had a loverly stay had everything you needed and more. beds are so comfortable so we all slept great.. would recommend to others location you couldn’t ask for better to be honest views are stunning will definitely be back

the only two things I didn’t like was the amount of stairs not for anybody with walking disabilities but was ok for us and also theres no parking outside the apartments only a short stay bays which was always full so made unpacking and loading the car back up abit of a pain

Over all stay was terrible

This property is adjacent to a pub we were away with children and no mention of this before booking both Saturday and Sunday evening loud music until after 1am and then this morning at 6am wagon collecting glass to recycle

The property was not very clean the main bedroom en suite shower was dirty and the main shower the shower hose leaked and sprayed out all over it was very difficult to get a shower the property cost £625.00 for 2 night could not get in to the property until 4pm and the out by 10am this morning not value for money at all. I have sent a message through booking.com to register a formal complaint

1. Excellent views. 2. Well appointed throughout. 3. New well sealed uPVC windows that kept Maisionette warm and reduced noise from outside. 4. Fire doors for good safety in case the worst happened.

Minor improvement opportunities - 1. Two sets of keys would be useful for larger parties. 2. Would prefer TV lower on wall. 3. Creaks in some floor boards. 4. Would have liked fire doors to close more quitely. 5. A microwave cover would be useful.

Had everything we needed. We were able to relax in this lovely apartment. Such a perfect location to visit all that Barmouth had offer. Weather was nice too, which obviously helps. Owners so very lovely too. We will be returning.

There wasn't anything to dislike about Rose Suite. Home from home stay. I would probably say, if you have trouble walking up and downstairs, then look to rent out the ground floor apartment rather than Rose Suite.

very comfortable and well equipped apartment. large rooms. wonderfully cosy with carpets and heating throughout. soundproof rooms. great showers. dishwasher!! washing machine. VIEWS!! very helpful, responsive host when a) the Sykes key information hadn't been updated and we couldn't get in. and b) when heating and hot water suddenly failed, it was fixed within a few hours, with chocolates left as an apology for the inconvenience. good quality equipment throughout.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Suite and Barmouth as a whole

Great location for a family holiday in Barmouth. Spacious and recently modernised accommodation with easy walk to shops, restaurants and beach. Clear instructions and parking permit for main car parks. Great communication with owner

There is little to dislike about Rose Suite, the accommodation suited our family with two 15year old boys. The living area could be more comfortable for staying in and watching a movie as a family.

An excellent base for a sight seeing trip to Barmouth

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, having recently been refurbished the apartment exceeded our expectations and was a clean, tidy, comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Its central location in the heart of Barmouth provided easy access on foot to all of the shops, cafes and beach front areas. The welcome pack on arrival was also a nice touch and very much appreciated. The estuary/sea view from the bedrooms and living area were lovely and for this reason we decided to cook and eat our meals here on multiple occasions. The provided parking permit was very helpful to us, as there is not much parking directly outside the accommodation. It took all the stress away which parking can sometimes cause.

We had very few issues during our stay. On arrival we did not know how to work the cooker as there was a particular sequence of steps to turning it on. This was quickly resolved for us that evening and it was reassuring to see there was support available when needed. Some instructions on this for future guests would be useful.
