Lovely location, well equipped, beds were comfy, would definitely stay again.
The amount of emails received from Sykes Cottages prior to the stay was excessive. Some felt quite threatening with regard to charges for losing the car park permit or damages. It also made getting into the property difficult as the email with details got lost amongst the many emails I received. There was another couple struggling when we arrived to find their email with key codes.

Fantastic location, welcome pack was lovely. Spacious and comfortable.
There was construction work going on at the property for the first few days. My partner is disabled and we didn’t realise how many stairs there was to access the property. There was no hoover so we couldn’t clean up properly.

Great location in the centre of Barmouth. Great views of the harbour and Cadair Idris from the lounge, and of the seagull nests and chicks from the bedrooms. Dishwasher was good! Beds were comfortable.
The car park was nearby, so parking was not a problem with the permit, which we also used in Harlech.
Despite having the instructions, we couldn't get to grips with the microwave, and I would have liked a small milk pan to make porridge (had to use said microwave instead!).

The apartment was really comfortable, clean and very spacious. All the amenities that you would need for a long weekend. Beautiful views of the harbour from most windows.
Had been left a lovely welcome pack with a bottle of wine and tea, coffee, milk and sugar which was a lovely touch. The 2 parking permits are very handy and will save you alot of money on the car parks.
We have stayed in the Emerald Suite below the Rose suite and they are both amazing apartments, we will be back 😀
A very late check in at 4pm, and early check out at 10am. This could be changed to 2pm check in as you feel you get robbed for your first day!
