Great stay at nova galaxy highlt recommrnd

Nice space, great area, the lake view was so nice! Has husky and reindeers at the venue which was aplus also. Sauna was nice, no showers more of a traditional bath in the sauna which was a first.

Might need more of a hot breakfast such as eggs and sauages and bacon.

1 night stay in December

The location, once in a lifetime experience since we say also the northern lights. Elpida at the reception was very helpful!! And generally the whole staff was great

The only thing I did not like it was the fact that the igloo was a bit small so with 2 big suitcases it was not very convenient.

We are much enjoyable these two days. There is good condition for the seeing aurora. The light pollination is very low.

The equipment of the house is nice although there is not very large. But with toilet and running water. Also there is enough space for luggage opening. The restaurant is nice and warm condition. The staff is extremely good and well services. I share the what we experienced. We had booked the taxi for the tmr early morning for activities. Unfortunately. The driver was no show. We met the staff called Sophia on the entrance since she just arrived for work. She immediately used her phone to help us call the agency for our late arrived and also tried to call the taxi since no car service in uber and bolts app. Finally, she successful to call the taxi for us. We can arrive the activities in time. Also she was much worry was arrived on time or not for whole day. She is so nice to help us with much passion and be claim down. We feel appreciated for her help. I surely that all the staff is much welcome and kind. I think this hotel is worthy to come again for vacation.

Worth staying there but the price in peak season was high🤪

Service is excellent , staffs are friendly and efficient. Sauna is worth trying and very remarkable experience. Can play around with Husky is very enjoyable too.

Only problem is we have to go to reception for flushing toilet.

Awesome! We wish we were able to stay more!

Being in a hut is an incredible experience. It’s a cozy and intimate space, even though it’s small. You can enjoy the beauty of the night sky and stars, and if you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the aurora borealis. We had the privilege of witnessing it twice in a row, although the weather conditions limited the visibility. The staff at this place is truly amazing. They have a husky park where you can play with these adorable creatures for free. If you’re interested in feeding them, they also have reindeer available. And let’s not forget the restaurant! It features a cozy fire pit in the center, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. But the highlight of the experience is the private sauna. You can unwind and rejuvenate in your own private sauna, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

We didn’t dislike it, but the experience is different. You have to wait for them to light up the sauna, which is done by burning wood, so it takes time for the sauna to heat up. Additionally, you need to shower in the sauna.

Impressive Nova galaxy village hotel staff outstanding service !

We booked the two private special huts by the riverside ; they’re were huts #11 & #12, it’s amazing as we could face the stars and northern lights from within the glass huts However , hut #11 ‘a glass panel View wasn’t having the northern - facing hence making it hard to gaze at the northern lights from the interior The overall service was outstanding ! My daughter forgotten and left her phone at the toilet near reception and realised it only at the RVN airport , hotel staff sent the phone to us at the airport at no extra charges and no Qns asked , very impressive outstanding service !!! We had the best stay ever!!!

Super good. The staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The resort updated information to guests since booking. We can see northern light from our igloo. The breakfast was very good and tasty. The private sauna and service were exceptional

Such a wonderful experience staying in a glass pod right next to the frozen lake. Being picked up in the skidoo to be taken for dinner at the restaurant under new management which was amazing.

Lovely cozy huts in the nature

The close contact with nature was incredible! The hut was warm and cosy, and the location was perfect, away from light pollution so you could see the northern lights. It was only a 15-minute drive from Rovaniemi. All the huts had essentials and built-in speakers and plenty of outlets. I didn’t mind the dry toilet but there were also normal toilets that were very clean. You’d also see a few reindeers on the property and they offered an experience with huskies to pet them, learn about them and even go for a quick ride. The best part was definitely the private sauna and the view of the sky from the hut. It was a bit pricey but the sauna and aurora viewing alone were worth it!

Setting up the sauna takes about two hours to warm up so it needs to be arranged in advance which is understandable. The staff is very accommodating and flexible but it’s a bit tricky to arrange a shower in the morning. There’s no one between 7 and 9am and I tried asking for 8am but the fire was already finished, likely set up before the end of the night shift. If you request it first thing on the morning shift it’ll only be ready around 11am which was a bit late for me. On top of that one morning the person making breakfast didn’t show up and the sauna wasn’t available. Given the price point I didn’t expect this but the next staff member arrived quickly and arranged breakfast so there was no major disruption besides some delays to our schedule.

The aurora cabin has been a great spot to spot the aurora during the night. It was warm and comfortable with a good audio system. Also, we enjoyed the sauna which allows you to have the authentic Finnish shower. The staff has been warm and kind

The hut on the river is simply magical, it worths every single cent.

The huts on the land are too close each other and without snow they looked to be in a parking lot. No shower and no bathroom in the hut, that is clearly communicated but a shared shower and bathroom close to each hut would be appreciated

Felt in love with Nova Galaxy Village🧡

EVERYTHING. 🥰 Location : Sleeping in aurora hut on the river, it's mesmerizing. Sauna was another great thing. Bathing in Sauna was new to us and was a refreshing change. Hospitality: Saku was really helpful and guided and helped us throughout. Amenities: Take away breakfast was provided immediately on arrival, and it was a lot and sufficient for us. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. Bathrobes, towels , tea, coffee, and sugar were provided. There's a kettle in the room and two glasses to drink tea/coffee . All sorts of toiletries provided, too. A fridge was present. There's a comod in the room, it was ok. Easy to use. There's an inbuilt music system in the hut, connected Bluetooth, and listened to all our favorite songs. ✨️🙌 We came for a single day and saw mesmerizing northern lights. Right from the comfort of our aurora hut. There are 3 toilets near the reception, absolutely clean and smells good. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to others. Kiitos Saku , Eetu and Logo. 💐

That we had to leave. But thank God, there's always hope to visit this property again.

Incredible!

The property was amazing and the staff were very helpful prior and during our stay with getting us organised. My partner also proposed while we were staying here and it was the perfect location! I also had the best breakfast of my life and would go back just for that!

We couldn‘t see the Northern lights but our stay was still really special and magical.

Definetly must must do for anyone on a budget and not wanting to waste too much time in a car/bus

Great location, not very far like most Igloo stays from Rovaniemi, also we were well briefed about the luggage and toilet facilities before hand and were well prepared for it. What stood out was the Aurora wake up call, huge individual saunas for rooms, amazing quality of food, and great experiences, we did both the husky tour and snowmobile tour with them.

Maybe the fact that a male also has to sit and pee, but manageable as we staid one night to experience to Igloos and stay the Aurora from our room windows.

Perfect stay

Everything was perfect! The huts have a lot of storage room, a toilette and a really comfortable bed! The breakfast and the restaurant are delicious. There are also real toilets not far away. And a authentic shower in the sauna.

unforgettable!

Really wonderful place in rovaniemi, all the staff are nice, especially the dinner is great, including all the foods drinks or staff, totally perfect! You can meet people from all around the world in the restaurant, quite a great experience! sauna is cozy, even there are no shower, you still can clean up by traditional way!

the tap doesn’t work on my second night, but the staff brought us 2 big bottles of water.

Great stay in winter paradise!

We had a very pleasant stay in Nova Galaxy Village! Staff was extremely helpful, food delicious prepared in front of you on the fire. Salmon is a must try! location is amazing - surrounded by nature and not too far from Rovaniemi. Hotel organizes activities like husky ride and snowmobile, providing all necessary equipment and thermal clothing/boots. Absence of shower is compensated by having private sauna with hot and cold water which you can mix. all necessary amenities are there- water, shampoo, soap, cold storage for food, kettle, charging ports, wifi, loudspeaker, sockets etc. Igloo is rather small but space is well organized and we had enough space for 2 small suitcases. It was very warm inside the igloo as well so don’t need to worry about that. we had a great experience in winter paradise! Looking forward to come back.

Charming corner to disconnect

Sauna facility and the chance of the bucket shower! Its menu is wide enough and the location is amazing for a gateway off the city. And the chance for a cute small hike next to the river.

Magical stay

Spectacular little huts only 15 mins out of Rovaniemi but secluded in the wilderness. Huts are very comfortable and have everything you need. Private sauna is a great extra. Special compliments too the chefs on site, great food and great company!!

Small nitpick but ice scraper and snow brush provided for the glass on the hut, would’ve been nice to have this done for us upon arrival, but only a small job.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt, der sich von normalen Hotels um Welten abhebt.

Am besten hat uns die Night Snowmobile Tour die direkt von dem Village angeboten wird gefallen. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer wo niemand wirklich hineinschauen konnte, da es eher am Rand situiert war. Team war durchwegs sehr nett und sie versuchen einen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen den man haben sollte. Vor allem Emma, ihr Service beim Abendessen war hervorragend. Alles zusammen eine 8.6/10 Punkten unserer Meinung nach. Für Menschen die was neues ausprobieren wollen. Totally worth it.

Sauberkeit hinter dem Bett, ist uns am Abreisetag aufgefallen könnte man verbessern, aber all in all wirklich Top . Just be aware, ein kleiner aber feiner Nachteil, dass die Huts nicht riesig sind (große Menschen müssen auf ihren Kopf aufpassen) und man keine richtige Toilette oder Dusche dort im eigenen Hut hat. Duschen und richtige Toiletten findet man neben der Rezeption.

Esperienza sensazionale

Bellissima esperienza, hotel in mezzo alla natura. Vista spettacolare, sauna privata che ci hanno acceso secondo richiesta. Allert per aurora ci ha avvisato quando era visibile ed è stata meravigliosa! Cena e colazione ottime come prodotti. Bagno in camera solo con cesso da campeggio non pratico, vi sono poi i bagni comuni vicino alla reception pulitissimi.

Peccato per il trasporto non disponibile per il giorno di ripartenza e colazione non era possibile farla all'orario scelto in quanto vi era un gruppo quindi, pur di farla dovendo ripartire abbiamo mangiato in un'area relax fredda. Staff gentile ha cercato di darci una soluzione e hanno sempre risposto ai messaggi.

La chambre au bord du lac avec sa vue dégagée, elle est petite mais fonctionnelle. Le personnel est là pour vous y conduire en moto neige. Le personnel est très sympathique. Possibilité d’aller voir les chiens de traîneaux et les 2 rennes. Petit déjeuner autour du feu. La qualité et l’encadré des activités proposées Sauna personnel avec la chambre

Attention pas de douche dans la chambre il faut se laver à la finlandaise dans le sauna. Toilette sèche (sac plastique sans sciure) dans la chambre. Pas un problème mais il faut le savoir.

Einfach magisch wenn man im Bett liegt und Nordlichter sehen kann.

Man hat hald natürlich nur ein kleines ex im Zimmer und keine Dusche. man hat die Möglichkeit in der Sauna nebenbei „Dusche“ zu gehen.
