The staff were very lovely, the experience is amazing. Staying in an ice room is definitely a unique experience
So, this is where for me they let themselves down and reduced my score massively. The area is mostly well gritted and comfy to walk on. However, we were staying in one of the ice rooms. The grit around the rooms and the walkways was not fresh or replenished was extremely slippery. Had to stop myself slipping even with good snow shoes a few times.

Breathtaking by combining wonderfully over both manmade and nature
The foods and especially the soups are always cold even requested to microwave but the waitress just seems not bothered at all although with a smiling face

The glass igloo was clean and comfortable.
The breakfast choice is limited and the dinner buffet is pricey with limited choice.

Glass igloo experience; great place to see the northern lights (if the sky is clear), you dont need to got far and its right on top of you (or just go outside your igloo too)

Uniqueness.
Nickel and dime...costs, even off season were very high. Think some things should have been included.... at least a one way shuttle...and discounted pricing on activities if staying.

We have always thought about staying in a Glass Igloo, so it fulfilled that wish of ours.
Spread over a huge area. This property has lots of igloo. A snow hotel is built from scratch every year.
Our Igloo was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It was a reclining bed👌
A private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, and bidet is an added advantage.
An electric tea kettle was provided, and there were tea, coffee, and sugar sachet.
They have an aurora alarm. It rang around 4 in the morning, but aurora was seen faintly for a minute, maybe due to heavy clouds. A beautiful lake was in walking distance.
Two saunas: one private ( has to be booked)
Another one public and was in use for guests from 9-11 p.m . Very clean and towels were provided separately.
A pop-up drink bar was a good experience too were you get to drink in ice-glass'.
Igloo had a fridge, too, and the Igloo was cozy enough for two people. 🙌
Reception staff was very helpful and other staff too. Thank you, Candice & Kati.🧡
Breakfast had lots of options for everyone , vegan and vegetarian options too👏 I personally thanked the cook for vegetarian fried rice 😋
Just that we visited this place because of Northern lights and we couldn't see it. Maybe next time. There is nothing wrong with the property. We liked our stay.

Beautiful
Dinner wasn’t really very flexible … needed reservations for buffet or the restaurant had 2 seating times. Maybe a flexible/casual option would be great.

It was a completely unique experience! Wonderful way to bring in the new year.
It was quite far away - they weren’t forthcoming about airport transfers. Cabs to/from the airport and the village are very expensive.

That the igloo beds were able to do height adjustments functions.
A family of five went fishing. We could not catch any fish because these stafs were cutting next year's huge ice block at a place about 200m away from the fishing point. 190 euros is not cheap, so I wish they would have taken care not to cut the ice during the fishing time. Very disappointing as my family was looking forward to it.

I loved the ice bar and the ice hotel
Unfortunately there is nothing to do in the hotel. I wanted a gym and other stuff for people to do. The northern lights are not clear. The glass has ice on it

Breakfast is very tasty and diverse. The igloo is tight but amazing. Provides (almost) a 360° view.

A great place to stay for one night. It’s clean and unique.
The cost of the accommodation is way overpriced.

I've just loved it all!

I was able to see the northern lights just outside of my igloo, and there’s an alarm for it, nice sauna, cool ice bar,
glass was covered with snow, heaters didn’t work, misleading advertising, you can’t see the northern lights from your room if there’s ice, there’s not much to do for solo travellers, many big tourists groups comes for the day, quite expensive for what it is

the sculpture ice is very nice and the food is very good.
if you sleep in the ice hotel, you need to now that during the day people walk around every room

The glass igloo has everything you need. Comfy bed, refrigerator, shower and so on.
You can see the stars and if you are lucky even polar lights.
Refrigerator in the room is super loud!
Breakfast is an absolute joke.
Super annoying that some people just leave their lights on, it should deactivate automatically after a while.

it’s clean and comfortable, and to our surprise the ice hotel is free to enter.
The breakfast was very good, a lot of choices.
The glass igloos is places very close to each other, so you can see into the other igloos.
it’s very expensive and if you don’t see the northern lights it feels a little like a waste of money.

We stayed in a glass igloo which was a cool experience. The ice hotel is great to see and the transfer service to the airport for €20p/p is much cheaper than any taxi service if in a couple. The aurora alarm is a great idea and it went off outside of the usual time for aurora activity so it ensures you don't miss them!
Not necessarily something I didn't like but felt it was unclear that lots of mentioned activities on the site have a cost or need booking in advance. Sledding/borrowing snow shoes is free and available to use on the lake. However ice fishing is €50 p/p, a Snowshoe hike is €90 p/p and the snow Sauna is €90 p/p for 90 minutes and these all require bookings.

everything was just perfect
