We had unpleasant impressions

A very uncomfortable room. The design is a horrible dark grey – gloomy and depressing. The layout is inconvenient and poorly thought out. In a fairly large bathroom, there is a tiny sink (about 20 by 30 cm) and no shelves at all. Everything feels badly designed and impractical. The housekeeper did not remove the rubbish and did not wash the cup left on the table. At breakfast there were just empty wooden tables without even salt and pepper on them. There was no service whatsoever. This is a hotel of max three stars and absolutely not worth the money we paid for it. Fortunately, we stayed there for only two nights. We were very disappointed, and the hotel left a very unpleasant impression.

Very nice stay just opposite Rovaniemi Bus Station and near Rovaniemi train station

We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights (on separate days) in the hotel. The location is best - just opposite the Rovaniemi bus station. We walked to Rovaniemi station with our luggage from the hotel. The staff was all very polite. We went to a different place for a day, and they kept our luggage free of charge for one night as well on the day of check out, as we had a late evening train. The rooms we booked (Double or Twin Room with City View) are spacious with provision for cooking - induction, microwave and lots of utensils. The breakfast spread was also very nice. There is a nice waiting lounge where you can wait. Definitely will prefer Postmaster Hotel again when we are back in Rovaniemi

Great place

Vira receptionist so helpful. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. If u are booking this place check out their sauna option for the rooms too I didn't see it when I was booking I might have gone ahead with it though. Under floor heating in the bed room and a TV with tonnes of channels this was a great place to stay

Great location.

The room is big with a small kitchen. Located opposite to the bus terminal and 10 mins walk to the railway station. Short walking distance to Rovaniemi downtown. Breakfast selections are very good and delicious.

Modern and comfortable hotel close to train and bus stations

Don’t be fooled by the lift, this a clean and modern facility. Very comfortable with easy access to the train and bus stations and supermarket. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to check in super early which was a bit help after our overnight train from Helsinki. Small kitchen was handy.

Lift is a bit antiquated but still works fine.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the Train station

The room was brand new, newly renovated and the kitchenette even had the new cupboard smells The room was large and the bed was comfortable The TV is really large and have thousands of channels so if the weather isn't good at Rovaniemi, you won't have trouble entertaining yourself Location is ideal if you are not hiring a car, just few minutes walk from the train station. Just be careful that the navigator keeps directing you to the back of the hotel (this is something the hotel could try to fix with Google) If you do hire a car (car hire companies are at the train station) there is free parking at the hotel Very Central location so easy to get around everywhere Breakfast is adequate but not to a 4* hotel standard. The smoked salmon, however, was really good quality, so it made up for the rest The old style lift was fun to ride :) The staff were lovely and always ready to help

The AC system wasn't working well and it just happened to get really hot at the time we stayed here but they provided us with a fan, which helped a lot.

Great location and very kind and helpful personnel

I booked this hotel for my sister and niece and they have enjoyed the experience. The room has kitchen facilities and the staff welds extremely friendly helping them while they were looking for a permanent accommodation as they moved to Rovaniemi. They have helped them navigating the city and offered help several times beyond what they could expect.

Very comfortable bed - light airy room - quiet. We slept like (Arctic) logs! Really helpful staff. Very near the station so very handy for catching the Helsinki train, car rentals, etc

Felt a bit out of town as lots of open space and car parks around and very quiet (May is a bit out of season in Rovaniemi) but actually only 10 mins to walk into main shopping street…

Charming hotel with excellent service

Loved this place. So close to the train station and a fairly short walk into town; large supermarket nearby as well. Reception were always very helpful and the character of the building charmed me - the old lift was a highlight. Room was clean and comfortable; also included a kitchenette, which was handy. Would like to return to Rovaniemi and will definitely book here again.

Overpriced and not value for money

The breakfast was the same every day and the variety was not good ,for the money we paid .waz highly overpriced and not value for money .

Value for money and convenient location

Location is very good and 5-6 mins to city centre. Convenient for most of the tour operator pickups.

We had a problem with the room aircon and reported to the reception but throughout our stay it did not get resolved. Instead we were provided with an small electric fan heater to warm the room which was OK while you were awake but not good when you go to bed as you cannot control the temperature.

Une bonne solution pour un transit à Rovaniemi, mais qui reste chère

Grande chambre toute neuve, literie parfaite. Hôtel tout près de la gare et du bus pour l'aéroport. Salle de bain confortable et bien chauffée par le sol. Environnement calme (bonne isolation). Le petit déjeuner est excellent, avec des produits frais et goûteux.

Être réveillé en pleine nuit par l'alarme incendie parce que la chaleur d'un sauna au sous-sol a déclenché tout le système (dixit la réception). Le chauffage est très lent pour régler la température souhaitée de la chambre (16 à notre arrivée, c'est bien pour dormir mais frais pour la soirée). La chambre au rez-de-chaussée donnait directement sur le parking. Le restaurant ferme à 21h, à savoir si vous arrivez tard. Enfin le prix, qui ne me semble pas justifié malgré le commentaire positif.

Ne-a placut practic tot, personalul foarte amabil si respinsabil, mereu au raspuns dragut . Curat , ingrijit. Comod si accesibil catre toate directiile, au si tururile lor .

As recomanda sa se adauge cate ceva pentru igiena, gen servetele pt fata , cotton pads/buts. Chestii minore care uneori ai nevoie de ele intr-o vacanta .

Habitaciones amplias y bien equipadas. Pudimos cenar utilizando la cocina de la habitación. Muy limpio y bien ubicado.
