Large, modern spacious home

Size, location with good amenities and owner was very helpful. Left us bottles of water and a bottle of coke.

Cleaning wasn’t 100% as dirt in corners of the flooring and not enough pillows but apart from that it was a beautiful home!!

The place was huge, pleanty of space and VERY comfortable! Facilities were excelent as well as tea and coffee which were much appreciated.

My sole criticism was that the front lawn wasn't mowed, and honestly that did not matter much.

We had a group of 6 people and our stay was very comfortable. Would recommend.

There was plenty of parking space - the area seemed safe. There were lots of local parks and some supermarkets and fast food places nearby. The place was clean and spacious. The kitchen was also well equipped. the airport is about 25 min drive from the property. The check in instructions were good and the host was contactable by Whatsapp and the booking.com app.

No complaints about the property itself. The public transport options to the city centre were quite slow.

A beautiful home, perfect for large groups and families!

Very beautiful house, with very spacious rooms, shared living spaces and a big kitchen for cooking and dining together as a family of 8! A plus point that everything was on the first floor, perfect for elderly or individuals who need mobility assistance. There were portable heaters in the rooms as well and bathrooms were very clean! The parking space was spacious as well for a 9 seater van.

One of the best places I’ve ever booked

The location firstly was so useful as it wasn’t in the centre but just 15 minutes away and not a busy area at all. There were shops very close nearby so you don’t need to worried about looking to find food. The house was exceptionally nice and clean, very modern and a lot of space even for a family of four there was so much more room. The host was very lovely and welcoming and gave clear and simple instructions about the house that were very easy to follow. This house was genuinely beautiful and so cosy to come back to after a long day of walking around Edinburgh. Would 100% recommend especially for the price.

Excellent stay and what a great respite from the wet weather. It was such a cosy property we really didn’t need to go an

Easy to find, quaint stone house in a quiet residential area and ample car park space. We are a party of 5 and we can easily have our own quiet space as the house is huge. There are 2 entertainment and family rooms with supersize TVs which we can assess Netflix and PrimeVideo readily + another smaller Tv in another room. We can watch our own shows and movies without disturbing others. There were plenty of board games to keep us occupied as well. The beds are comfortable and we slept very well. What’s best is the heating system. During our 2 night stay Edinburgh was wet and cold but the property has heating systems installed in every nook and corner we felt so warm coming home. As it was a wet day we didn’t spend time in the yard where there were garden chairs and table. On a sunny day I am sure we could have enjoyed our family BBQ there. And Simon and his parents are ever so ready to assist us with our queries.

Beautiful property, great facilities, real home from home feel

The property is just beautiful and decorated to a high standard, very modern but still feels homely. For large family groups, it’s ideal with three double rooms and options for extra sleeping space, all on one floor too. We had a busy schedule so didn’t really get the opportunity to chill and enjoy the likes of the jacuzzi bath, but if we ever booked again, I would definitely plan some free time to just relax and enjoy this property

We highly recommend the Immanuel House to anyone who’s traveling to Edinburgh. We had an amazing stay. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. It’s beautifully renovated with very spacious rooms and exceptionally clean. It was one of the best decisions during our trip to Edinburgh :) We would love to come back again in the future!

Exceptional

The house is amazing: big rooms, comfortable beds. The kitchen has all the equipment you will need to cook. Huge garden to enjoy yourself. Two bathrooms were very useful for our family with 3 kids. Close to a few supermarkets. We came by car but because we didn't want to drive to the town we left our car in free parking in just 5 min. to drive from the house and take the bus to old town for just £2 per adult and £1 for child. Very quiet area that gives good sleep to rest after long drive. We had a good time and I'll l recommend this accommodation for everyone.

Nous avions besoin d’un lit bébé pour un bébé de 4 mois que nous n’avons jamais eu. Le deuxième matin la chaudière en panne . Il faisait 14° au réveil dans la chambre du bébé qui a eu très froid !!!

Un lugar muy bonito, cómodo y limpio, repetiría sin duda. En coche está a 20 min del centro. El trato con Simon fue genial, nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos y nos respondía muy rápido.

Preis-Leistung nicht gerechtfertigt

Wir dachten, wir hätten ein Haus für uns alleine gebucht. Doch ein weiterer Mieter der oberhalb wohnte ist mit inklusive. In der Beschreibung stehen über 300qm angeblich zur Verfügung. Wahrscheinlich wurde der Garten mit eingerechnet!? Diese Angabe finde ich sehr irreführend. Für sieben Personen war das Apartment schon recht klein. Kleine Bäder und ein Schlafzimmer waren zu klein. Die Heizungen liefen nicht immer. Die Küche - Toaster, Herd, sowie Backofen waren dreckig. Backofen fettig, und Toaster komplett krümelig.Kühlschrank krümelig. Für sechs Tage hat jede Person nur ein Handtuch gehabt. Ich musste per Nachricht anfragen ob es weitere Handtücher geben könnte. Betten Matratzen sind durchgelegen. Kuhlen waren vorhanden. Das preis-Leistung Verhältnis war definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt. Wirklich schade. Das Haus hätte Potenzial.
