The Seahorse Torbay

Beautiful apartment with an almost tropical sea view. Extremely tastefully and thoughtfully appointed throughout with complimentary treats on arrival which I shall leave you to discover. The TV room has multiple streaming services, virgin TV, a built in surround sound and a reclining seat and is amazing. The hosts went above and beyond to provide us with comprehensive information about the area prior to arrival, including their picks for beaches, bars, restaurants etc. Most helpful as tables at some restaurants will require booking in advance. They even offered use of their laundry facilities, if needed. Fantastic location, set between Torquay and Paignton and if you want to spend a day in picturesque Brixham and fancy a drink the number 12 bus runs every 15mins from the seafront into the wee hours. The Dartmouth steam train and river cruise which sets off from Paignton is a must do. Katharina and Patrick are superstars and will take good care of you.

The Seahorse Torbay did not disappoint. An absolutely stunning apartment with sea views to match. Very clean, spacious and very tastefully furnished. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The garden and terrace is beautiful to relax on day or night with amazing views of the sea and a lovely Dutch hot tub. The owners were very accomodating ensuring the hot tub was filled and ready to use on our arrival. Lovely little touches of fresh bread, eggs, milk and very tasty homemade scones clotted cream and jam. A fabulous location just a 10 minute walk to the beach and nearby restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend the Seahorse and will definitely be returning. ☺️
