Large, centrally located Tuscan estate, great for large families

Amazing location, close to Florence and Siena. The panoramic views were top notch. Beautiful property and full of medieval Tuscan styling. Large kitchens and plenty of space for large families.

Complimentary access to the laundry, or additional laundry units would have been nice when booking the whole villa, it is €15 per load for self service. The property has air conditioning, which is great for Tuscany, however the units would stop working periodically. The breakfast is a little expensive at €9 per person for coffee, juice and a frozen croissant.

A place that none of the 10 of us will ever forget. Absolutely perfect.

Of all the places I have booked through Booking.com, this may be our very favorite. Any dream you have had of Tuscany will come true at this amazing villa. If you go, have the dinner service at least once. Jens, the owner of the property, is also a gourmet chef. The food, the accommodations, the location—-there is so much to love here.

Lovely villa, we reccommend!

The room had a very nice and beautiful interior, was clean, comfortable, well equipped. The views around the villa are amazing - 360° beauty everywhere. Amazing spot for beautiful sunsets. Friendly and very accommodating host and staff! We received good reccommedations. Breakfast was delicious. Wines were really good. Would love to come back!

Our stay was quiet and beautiful.

The property is pretty with nice views. It is smaller that I thought in the pictures. Breakfast was nice and convenient. Room was comfortable and pretty. There is a shower/tub combo that is nice but difficult for it not to get water on the floor due only having a half door.

The stay was otherwise amazing, exactly what we wanted.

The breakfast was great and super romantic

I didn’t like the fact that the room was so small and we seemed to have been the only two with that size room. Not sure if it was an availability issue because there were a lot of rooms available upstairs that were much more accommodating. The part that was most annoying was that our bed was two single beds stuck together. I didn’t think that was right. We also didn’t have access to a fridge and we had to throw out most of the food we bought because we weren’t warned when in the description it says we can use the kitchen.

What a beautiful location and an absolutely magical property. We LOVED our time here and are so happy we booked. I want to plan to visit again when the seasons change. Lovely staff, everything you need and more. If you’re considering, go for it!

Our mattresses wasn’t the most comfortable and the air conditioning wasn’t cold but did the trick.

Authentic Tuscany done right

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the villa nestled at the top of a hill with beautiful views. Jens and Barbara were wonderful host and educated us about olive oil and tuscan wines. We had the pleasure of taking a cooking class using local products. It truly was an authentic tuscany experience. We can’t wait to return.

Beautiful property!

Gorgeous property, so charming, so spacious, so tranquil. Highly recommend it. The animals are a plus for little ones. The view is dreamy. The property owner strikes the perfect balance of giving guests space and being available to answer questions about the history of the property (it was built in the 11th century!), or giving a tour of their olive oil making set up.

The was the priciest accommodation during our trip, but well worth it!

Beautiful villa located in the Tuscan hills. You can see a lot of work and attention went into choosing the materials and making this place as charming as it is. The host was very helpful. Good food as well, delicious jam!

Needs a shower curtain/ door in the bathtub, otherwise the water is everywhere and you have a wet floor for hours. For the breakfast room it would be nice with some low playing music, otherwise it is a little too quiet.

Amazing stay! Jens and Team are great, it felt like home. The views and vibe of the Villa are unique, you can explore Tuscany (localization 10/10) and chill (peace & silence 10/10) at the same time. A wonderful pool is perfectly situated. A well equipped kitchen is available for guests 24/7. Breakfasts are really good and diversified. There is a sufficient parking space for all guests. The closest city with shops and restaurants is c.a. 6km from the Villa. I'm sure that it wasn't my last stay in the Villa.

Little gem in Tuscany

What a property and the views -> spectacular!! Nice host Great local products and we enjoyed a great dinner cooked by our host Jens and with other great visitors. The olive oil from the property is delicious so is the wine we had during dinner We also went to a wine tasting suggested by Jens which was amazing to ( Cesani )

Not sure there is anything we didn’t like Maybe a suggestion about the availability of the staff -> offering drinks while we enjoyed some time by the pool

It is an enchanting and enchanted place it felt like a dream home. I loved the authenticity of the owners, the natural taste of the food and how the owners are passionate and love what they do. The huge effort they do in keeping villa Montecastello as it is is worth it a thousand times.

Atmosfera, piękne miejsce i widoki, fajny basen, dużo udogodnień ale już wymagających odnowienia przynajmniej studio Pendolino. Personel niezwykle pomocny i życzliwy. Kuchnia w studio super się sprawdziła. Lokalizacja w środku niczego ale tu o to chodzi.

Jakość łazienki w studio o nazwie Pendolino zdecydowanie poniżej standardów do jakich obiekt pretenduje. Cena nie ma odzwierciedlenia w jakości pokoju - w naszym przypadku studio Prndolino.

-precio- calidad desproporcionado -no tiene atención ni staff fijo . El dueño solo cobra y se fue, no nos mostró las instalaciones no nos deja un teléfono de contacto .Tuvimos que contactarlo por la plataforma para acceder a él para prender el aire acondicionado -tenes que avisar con anterioridad para desayunar o cenar -cama dura y vieja -para prender o apagar el aire debes escribirle al dueño , cuestión que es casi imposible. -Gym es un cuarto viejo con 1 maquina sin la adecuación correcta
