Nice resort with stunning view and a great pool

In the heart of Tuscany, this place offers spectacular views and easy access to beautiful cities like Montalcino and Pienza. The staff were very friendly, and the house was clean, simple, and equipped with all the basic facilities needed. There are also plenty of extras, like a football playground, and the pool with its stunning view was a real highlight.

Lovely stay with great hospitality - we were very happy & would come back!

We spent 3 nights at I Pianelli with our baby and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Our room was beautifully furnished with a fantastic, spacious shower with massage jets. The pool area and the exterior of the house are stunning.

There was some mold starting to form on the ceiling, so a renovation might be due soon.

The hotel seems so far from everything. no near by supermarket or cafes or restaurants. if we get back to the place we know it’ll be hard to go anywhere in evening as nothing is nearby. Apart from a restaurant in one of the nearby hotels.

Very pleased with our 4 night stay.

Remote location, the area was not overly busy so it was easy to get around, The grounds were lovely, with a pool and lots of chairs available. The owner helped us with dinner recommendations and reservations. The surprise was that there was a small kitchen cleverly disguised, and we did use it one night. It was 30 minutes to Sienna and Montalcino and other Tuscan towns, so well located.

The steep gravel road/entrance to the hotel was hidden and not on our GPS. Difficult to find the first time.

Beautiful slice of paradise!

I Pianelli was so peaceful and relaxing! It was a refreshing change to sleep with the windows wide open and with the screens, there were no bugs and best of all, no street noise! The pool was a delight as it was quite hot during our stay and felt so refreshing to have a cool off in the pool. Breakfast was served on the patio and you really got the feeling of being n the countryside. Marco has done a wonderful job decorating the rooms and providing a comfortable escape to offset the hectic schedule of sightseeing. Little touches like pool towels and a bag for bringing your stuff to the pool deck just show how your needs are thought of. We didn't use the football pitch or badminton area, but for families they are a great addition to the property. Since we were in a room and not an apartment, we drove into nearby villages for our dinners. Apartments come with full kitchens and there are two bbqs on site as well.

There really isn't anything to dislike, unless you don't like nature and kind people! Marco and his staff were very helpful, and always on hand to assist with questions or suggestions for meals, sightseeing etc.

Peaceful holidays in Tuscany

We loved absolutely everything. Big thank you to the staff who has been very welcoming, we felt immediately at ease. The land is really big, even though we didn’t have a kitchen, it is really easy to find a place to rest here and there in the garden. The room we stood in was very nicely decorated and perfectly equipped with a modern bathroom. We really enjoyed the breakfast on the terrasse. We could not enjoy a buffet for COVID reason but it was not a problem. It was perfectly handled and was still delicious ! And finally the localisation is ideal to visit south Tuscany without too much time on the road. The place is perfect to have a visit/rest time enjoying the pool and the beautiful landscapes. We recommend !

The bed of our room was a bit too hard for us, but this is the only - point and personnel. All the rest was absolutely perfect !

A very enjoyable and memorable experience.

Our room and other facilities were of very high quality. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was a large selection to choose from. It is served on a cozy terrace where you can enjoy the morning sun. Would definitely come back another time.

Location is perfect for people who wants to have a peaceful rest. Nature is amazing. Pre-ordered breakfast surprised the whole family and was very tasty: local food, fresh cooked and of course best coffee!

Beautiful location between olive trees. Very peaceful and quiet place due to the remoteness. The room it's very big and very modern. There is a mini fridge as well. That's a very good place to explore the beautiful Tuscany. This place feels like a 5 star hotel, book it and you will not regret it.

Exceptional

The property is beautiful and surrounded by picturesque countryside. The breakfast was excellent, worth every cent. It's no longer a buffet, due to coronavirus, but you fill out a form with your choices. They don't impose quantity limitations, and it worked well for us. The location is great for getting to nearby towns and the beautiful Tuscan countryside (don't miss the Bagno San Filippo, which is free - pack your swimming costume!)

The pool had lots of dead insects floating in it, but I'm not sure whether they can address this.

Perfect base for visiting Tuscany

If you're looking for peace and quiet in an amazing location, this is the place for you! The place is surrounded by olive trees and a forest. The breakfast is very good, they have a pool (which we didn't use because it was too cold) and you can hear birds singing everywhere. There were yellow crocuses everywhere in October. The hosts are very polite. Although English is not really their forte, we managed to understand each other without any issues. If you manage to wake up for sunrise, you're in for a treat!

The gravel road up to the property is not that great, but we had a rented Fiat 500 and we managed.

Exceptional

This is better than most 5 starts hotel where I stayed. Room is big and you actually have a small kitchen inside if you need - although I would recommend to take the breakfast also in the B&B, it is very good with a perfect selection of cheeses, salami, cakes, fruits and good coffee! Plus the view from the breakfast terrace! The place is on the verge of a forest and it has a very clean pool, quite big in size so more people can feel comfortable.
