La Palazzina is a farmhouse in Tuscany with a beautiful swimming pool. The apartments for rent date back to the XVIIth century and have been lovingly restored. La Palazzina is immersed in the Tuscan countryside just 18 km South of Siena.
Our proposal is a dreamy vacation in our small corner of paradise, to enjoy at full the peace and quiet of the Tuscan countryside.
We will be pleased to host you at any time throughout the year, in a 18th Century Manor house that has been converted into eight self-contained apartments.
Note on the tourist tax: The Municipality of Murlo applies a tourist tax of X,XX € per person per night up to a maximum of X nights. Children under 12 and other categories provided for by the municipal regulations are exempt. If you are exempt, please notify us before your arrival, so that we can apply the discount due."
The following are also exempt from paying the tax:
a) all those registered in the registry of residents of the Municipality of Murlo;
b) minors up to the age of 12;
c) those who assist patients in health facilities located in the provincial territory in the amount of
one companion per patient;
d) bus drivers and tourist guides who provide assistance to organizational
groups; the exemption applies to each bus driver and one companion
for every 25 participants;
e) members of the Police Force, Fire Brigade, Armed Forces, Civil Protection who stay overnight during events of particular importance for which
they are called to intervene in our territory for service needs;
f) non-self-sufficient disabled people (with appropriate medical certification) plus one
companion;
g) those who are in stay overnight following measures adopted by public
authorities to deal with emergency situations following calamitous and extraordinary events
or for humanitarian relief purposes;
h) those staying in facilities in the municipal territory for work reasons;
i) those staying overnight in facilities in the municipal territory for study reasons.

This property was truly amazing! After a very long drive from Trieste on the day of our check in, we were greeted with a home cooked pasta dish, antipasto, fresh fruits, and homemade wine. The 1700’s farmhouse has many different apartments that have been lovingly restored and have most of the modern conveniences. The owners make their own olive oil, wine, and cheeses as this is a working farm complete with roosters, chickens, cows, etc. This was perfect for our 20 year old autistic daughter as she is very “connected” to animals. There is a lovely pool that is perfect for everyone on a hot Tuscan day. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Eloise and her husband and are looking forward to a return trip next summer.

we liked the place a lot, spacious, well-preserved with a lot of history. The overall facility including the pool itself was very nice. Eloise was a very good host. Located in a beautiful part of Tuscany not too far from Siena. We had a bit of difficulty at first finding the place as it didn't seem to clearly appear on the GPS...

This was our second stay at La Palazinna and It really is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. Eloise and Alessio are wonderful hosts and are very helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this fabulous place and look forward to returning next year.
