An Unforgettable Tuscan Paradise!

My wife, our baby, and I just returned from a week-long stay at this incredible agriturismo, and we're already dreaming of going back. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic views of rolling green hills and vineyards that look like something out of a painting. It is also a great base to explore amazing towns nearby and Florence. Our apartment was more like a charming small villa. It perfectly blended rustic Tuscan decor with all the modern amenities we needed. It was spotless and very comfortable. The pools were a highlight—the infinity pool with a view was stunning, and our baby had an amazing time splashing around in the kids' pool. What truly made this vacation unforgettable, however, was the hospitality. The owner, Nada, and her son went above and beyond for us. They were professional yet so warm and friendly, making us feel more like friends than guests. They arranged a baby crib and high chair for us, which was a huge help. Nada also provided fantastic recommendations for day trips and restaurants. The private cooking class she organized with Chef Cristina was a truly special experience we'll never forget. As a bonus, the agriturismo produces its own delicious wine and olive oil. We can't recommend this place enough and can't wait to return.

Wondeful stay in Tuscany!!! Highly recommend.

The property and view was lovely. We really enjoyed the pool and the view from the pool. Especially appreciated cooling off on those hot days. Our apartment was adorable and clean. It had everything we needed for a great stay. Appreciated the welcome basket with some basic needed items. Jill was an outstanding host. Extremely warm, friendly and accommodating, and provided some great recommendations on restaurants and sites to see in the area. Would highly recommend this property.

Real Tuscany Stay

It took us a very long time to find the perfect place for a real Tuscany stay and we have found it with Agriturismo Rigone. Jill was so helpful before the stay and with lots of recommendations on-site. The location had the perfect Tuscany landscape view as we were located on a hill where we were surrounded by the typical trees, olive gardens and wine fields. Like you would imagine a real Tuscany stay. We have received a beautiful welcome basket with their own homemade olive oil and wine which was both so delicious. The property had everything you needed, dishwasher, hairdryer etc. The location was great as the distance to Pisa, Florence and Siena were all similar. We were surrounded by lots of wine tasting places and very close to San Gimignano. We loved our stay there and enjoyed each day sitting on the terrace with a coffee enjoying the stunning views.

One of our best holidays ever

We had a wonderful 2 weeks in Rigone. It's a very special place, with astounding views, a superb pool and we enjoyed having our private shady outside space very much. It's very comfortable and clean, simply but well equipped, mosquito nets on all the windows. The extra care taken was much appreciated; from Jill's warm welcome and helpfulness, the basket of goodies on arrival, having ones own allocated deckchairs to the daily bread delivery. The location could not have been better for visits to Pisa, Florence, Lucca, San Gimignano, Cortaldo (a little gem), Volterra and the water park in Cecina. Montaione itself is charming, with a bakery, a very well stocked Coop and a great little bar in the old town. It was a blissful holiday!

Amazing accomodation

Perfect situated - between olivetrees and vine, amazing view and silence, wonderful apartement, kitchen well equipped, rooms on three floors with great view, helpful and nice staff, amazing pool including four loungers for each apartement, welcome-basket with spaghetti and vino, supermarket 5 minutes away. Highly recommended!!

Exceptional

Nada and Jil are the best hosts you could think of, very nice, caring and available when you need help. We've had a car accident during our stay and I got hurt so they helped with medication, arranging doctor's appointments and interpreting. Thank you again so much! We've had a very nice apartment with lots of space, private terrace and a beautiful view. My partner was excited about the BBQ in between olive trees - remember to buy charcoal yourself at Coop supermarket (few minutes drive by car) which is also open on Sundays. There's a welcome present waiting for you when you arrive after a long drive, which is super lovely! :) I know this is part of the Tuscan summers, but just as a side note: Be aware of the mosquitos and prepare yourself with a spray. Even though there's mosquito nets on all windows you can't avoid them to come in. Maybe a bed canopy would be helpful too? Unfortunately I can't tell more as we haven't had the chance to explore Montaione or the Tuscan region itself due to the accident. But I'd love to come back one day to enjoy what we've missed!

The gravel road to reach the apartments is super steep, make sure to come with a "good car". Stop at the car park and don't drive further (even though there is no sign).

Very nice!

Super friendly welcome, we even had some food including fresh herbs in our room on Sunday at our arrival to cook for dinner. The pool and the private patio were amazing with incredible views. Jill organized everything for us, getting us free loaner bikes, which were in very good condition and a beautiful horse ride through the vineyards of Tuscany. The wine and olive oil they sell from the farm is really good and we highly recommend it! Definitely planning to come back!

We had a wonderful week in Ansedonia apartment. The rooms and the terrace were as beautiful as on the photos. The staff was especially kind and helpful. Many of the Tuscan towns are very close to Montaione so it's an excellent choice for those too who'd like to take trips around.

Very well equipped kitchen, great pool area with views over the hills, free mountain bikes to use which are great quality, and great WiFi throughout the property. Great base for day trips and wineries nearby.

Ansedonia - the apartment in which i stayed has a wonderful private area outside where you can spend evenings admiring the beautiful rolling hills of Chianti. Geweldig verblijf in Montaione

De service en behulpzaamheid van Tommaso was fantastisch. Het huisje is mooi, schoon en ruim. De locatie is geweldig en met de auto is veel te zien en bereiken. Wij komen terug!

Er waren veel muggen en geen muggennet bij de deur. Dat was jammer. Andere gasten deden moeilijk over wie welke zonnebedjes mocht gebruiken, dat was vervelend.

Top Lage- ruhig, aber zentral. Mega Aussicht!!! Ca 1-1,5 h zu Pisa, Siena , Florenz, Livorno etc Großer Pool mit reservierten Liegen, Schirm für jede FeWo. Auch am Haus diverse Sitzgelegenheiten Möglichkeit fürs Frühstück Lebensmittel zu bestellen, die man am nächsten Tag an der Rezeption holen kann

Badezimmer optisch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hätte in der FeWo etwas sauberer sein können

Eine Oase mitten im Olivenhain. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben drei Wochen hier verbracht - es war eine sehr schöne und erholsame Zeit. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das Appartement war geräumig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Selbst bei schlechtem Wetter (was nicht der Fall war), kann man sich dort wohlfühlen. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Nordtoskana zu erkunden.

WLAN Verbindung war leider nicht immer gut...

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung waren sehr ruhig und angenehm. Der Pool war auch im Oktober noch offen und lud zum Entspannen ein. Und Jill war immer ansprechbar, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.

Dafür kann keiner was, aber es gab ein paar sehr durstige Mücken. ;) Und die Zufahrt zum Grundstück könnte mal erneuert werden.
