Beautiful area where the birds are singing since the morning till late night. Nice and simple accomodation. The swimmingpool with amazing view to the fields.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful a We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful agriturismo in Tuscany. The atmosphere was idyllic – a charming stone house, a swimming pool, old trees and peaceful surroundings. It was the kind of place where you immediately feel relaxed, and we were even planning to come back with friends.
Unfortunately, our experience was spoiled at check-out. After a very difficult night with our baby, we kindly asked to extend the stay for just two extra hours (of course, we were ready to pay for it). Instead of understanding, we were met with rudeness from the owner. Such a small thing at the very end of an otherwise pleasant stay left us with a bad impression and a sense of disappointment.

The staff and facility exceeded our expectations. We had the Livia suite which felt like our own house overlooking the vineyard. We had a wine tour and luncheon that was true Italian, which kicked off our stay in true Italian fashion. We also had a cooking class with Laura, who made it a one on one experience, and from the get go made us feel like part of the family. Breakfast was top notch and the views were breathtaking. This is definitely something we would like to revisit in the next couple of years.
Nothing comes to mind.

The actual property and surrounding suburbs were very pretty.
The apartment itself was very expensive and we expected it to be a much more private family villa. The pool was very busy and chlorinated the villa was very dark and hot. There was only air conditioning in the bedrooms. No basics like salt, rubbish bags, tea or coffee. They make you take your rubbish to the bins at the start of the driveway 1km away and you would expect the rooms to be serviced for the price. No restaurant on site and the so called friendly owners were non existent. The beds were not comfortable and joined together. We were very disappointed overall and thought to previous good reviews were not accurate.

Fabulous views over the vineyards. Rustic buildings. Magical dinner amongst the vines. Located in the centre of Chianti.
We had the suite, which had no cooking facilities. Would have been good to be able to eat in sometimes. ( other apartments have facilities). Wifi had some intermittent problems, not bad though.

Stunning location, beautiful facilities. The buildings date back to the 14th and 15th centuries but are still modern enough to be comfortable (AC in the bedrooms, etc). No restaurant on site but the kitchen is very accommodating to make snacks at the wine bar until around 6pm. Guests get 10% off wine (glasses or bottles). Bonus: the owners' cute dog might come by to say hi!

This was our 6th visit to Querceto, though 12 years since our last visit. Nice accommodation, fabulous views, a great pool, lots of seating areas, beautiful wines to try (and buy), with very welcoming hosts.

We had a four night stay here as a family of 3 and absolutely loved it.
Rustic accomodation with all the amenities you need. We cooked for 2 nights and then dined at nearby Castellina the other 2 nights.
Clean, comfy accommodation with a great pool which was welcome in this current heatwave.
Complimentary wine tasting was appreciated, learning about the Chianti Classico, the region and the wine making process.
Very friendly staff.
Laundry room available with dryer and clothes rack.
Very good location, central for day trips to San Gimignano and Siena.
WIFI wasn’t the best, but we were regional so to be expected.
Some complimentary supplies such as oil, salt & pepper, sugar, for the kitchen would have been helpful.
Tissues in the bathroom also would have been good.

The best parts about Querceto Di Castellina:
- The location was great, we were 1 hour away from the train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella, and 1 hour away from Pisa, so of course, made the trip to Pisa to see the leaning tower. It was amazing!
- The property is so beautiful, and several attributes make you feel at home: the suites are spacious, containing a bedroom, a living area, and a big bathroom, with beautiful shutter windows throughout letting in fresh breeze and natural light.
- Breakfast included scrambled eggs, (3) types of grains/cereal/granola, cold meats, and pastries. What stood out the most was the granola and the fresh milk. The milk was some of the best I've tried - I think this is an Italian thing, because even in Rome, the milk was fresh and tasty.
- The highlight of the stay was Elliot, the Boston terrier... I have a Boston terrier of my own, and I was missing him so much while traveling that when I entered the reception area and saw this tiny Boston terrier run to greet me, I was speechless. It felt surreal that I almost teared up.
Spotted a curious fox at night! :D It was cool to see one.
Thank you to Querceto Di Castellina for a wonderful stay. I'll be back! Bacci to sweet Elliot.
There were a lot of geckos, but that's not the fault of the property; it's part of nature. I was just scared sometimes moving around because of the geckos; we have a lot of them in Saudi Arabia, and they're a big fear of mine.
An important tip: You will need to rent a car to get around. This is a general tip for the countryside in Tuscany.

Great location in heart of Chianti Classico region. Among the vineyards, quiet place, nice views, all easy going.
Family-like run place, friendly staff, either native english speakers or at least trying their best, which was quite OK.
Great breakfast on sunny terrace overseeing the stunning views.
No restaurant on side, but plenty of great ones in short driving distance.

Fantastic location to stay. Close to Castellina, in the middle of nature and super quiet. The views from both the terrace and swimmingpool area are amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, would definitely recommend to book this place with breakfast. The apartment was very spacious and cosy, comfortable bed, good size bathroom, very clean. We did a wine tasting, I would also definitely recommend to do that, super nice. We didn’t want to leave :-)
Nothing. It was excellent.

The location and views were beautiful.
The staff were not engaging. The washing machine and shower both broken. Villa had many spiders in it. There was no wifi at all in our villa and smart tv had no connectivity. Pool not well maintained, water green.

Querceto di Castellini is a magical, unforgettable place to stay! Our apartment (Ciliego) was very beautiful in an old but beautifully renovated stone building, very clean with a full kitchen, living room and separate upstairs bedroom. The winery was spectacular, so beautiful!! and just a few minutes from a lovely medieval town (Castellini in Chianti). The location was also perfect, a short drive to Siena, less than an hour to Florence and we also visited Volterro which was amazing. The highlight of our stay was the cooking class with Laura. She was pure magic, so elegant, generous and a wonderful cook and hostess. The food we helped prepare was extremely delicious and her stories about local food traditions and the history of her family and the vineyard were fascinating. It was also very magical to cook in her kitchen and visit her amazing home! To top it all off, we had the chance to taste each of the wines produced at the vineyard during our meal and they were beyond perfect. We are so grateful for this once in a lifetime experience!

We stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon in Tuscany. The property is stunning. Surrounded by rolling hills with vineyards and olive trees.
The bed and pillows were not comfortable. Pillows were extremely flat and was tough to sleep on. We had breakfast here for 14 euros each. it was pretty disappointing considering it was just scrambled eggs on a heater, croissants and drip coffee. We felt hosed down paying 28 euros for that. I would recommend making your own or going into Castellina for a proper coffee and cornetto. Also, keep in mind the way into the Agriturismo is a long dirt path, if your car is low, keep that in mind.

The Livia room was large and spacious. We really enjoyed our winery tour, wine tasting and lunch. Breakfast was also very good. A wonderful getaway in the Chianti hills on a beautiful property with such nice hosts.

The location
The bathroom was dated and needed improving, especially the shower.
It didn’t meet my expectation of what an agriturismo should offer. Breakfast was just ok but not local, fresh home baked products. The winery and wine tasting business came way before the staying guests. It didn’t feel a personal service. Disappointed.

Our stay was short but exceptional. The views are spectacular and the property is stunning. We enjoyed several hours relaxing poolside at sunset. We didn't want to leave!

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings in the heart of Tuscany. It provided us with a great place for a birthday party. The pool is gated so kids can't get in and there weren't other cars except for the guests'. We enjoyed!
The kitchen could be better equipped as there's no restaurant, only if you book very much in advance. They should notify guests when booking that the restaurant services need to be booked months in advance. I tried one month before and it was already too late. They also wrote that the vineyard dinner is min. For 6 people, which we were, but it turned out to be 8. That was a bummer!

A little eden in a Chianti region where you can see roe deer in wild. it’s located away from main road so it’s ideal to have a great rest, enjoy in nature and have a glass or two of their tasteful wine. The whole property is like from movie, everything is in place. Sadly it wasn’t the season for the pool yet, but I can imagine this is another pearl to try it.
