The worst owner of a so called apartment in spain. AVOID

Nothing

No communication at all. The so called apartment is a cave with no windows. Tv or wifi would not work. You get the code on the last second. I had no wifi so had to sit in a bar to get it. The code would not work the cleaner tried it 10 times. The bed is near to the wall where the two bathrooms are. I tripped over the leg of the bed and badly buried my leg with lots of swelling . So I had enough. I was worried with no communication if the code would not work if I went out then all my belongings would be locked in I would not waste your money on it. The worst apartment owner in spain

It was in the centre of the old town

Lock would not work when we came back at 11.30pm. And we were left to our own devices. No help from the landlord. Had to eventually go to a hotel. But all my medication was in the apartment. We didn't get back into the apartment until next day.

Great location and price

No hot water for our stay and no communication from the hosts to help One bed had a blanket, one never. We asked and were told we would get one but never. Toilet flusher was broken, so had to remover the lid to flush each time.

Very noisy, workmen upstairs every day - we were not told about this. A lot of damp in the bathroom. For an hour or so we had no power either due to the work - again not informed

Don't stay here, just don't

Great location and helpful staff.

Apartments are in horrendous state, they require full renovation. Right after check-in we noticed that shower was broken (no hot water) and there was no WiFi which was crucial for our stay. We contacted staff and after a small delay they offered to move us to another apartment. It was really nice, kudos to them, new apartment was much bigger and better, with 2 bathrooms and more rooms. But condition of both apartments was quite bad: there were cracks on the walls, plenty of dirt everywhere, a lot of broken things and small cockroaches in the bathroom... Every day we had some kind of "adventure" while living there. On the second day electronic doorlock lagged and I was locked inside, while my spouse left outside - we weren't able to open the door from any side. After 10 min of failed attempts I was already writing to staff about this problem, but right after unexpected power surge (light blinked everywhere) door was unlocked. On the third day some guest from the apartment below visited us and asked us to stop using shower, he showed us video, where he had really powerful waterfall straight from the ceiling in his bathroom...so we started using another bathroom. Our stay here was really frustrating and we didn't enjoy it. But again, kudos to the staff who did their best to help us.

Location great, although main door does not lock which felt a huge security risk being on a busy side street

Door to terrace broke on arrival, we booked this studio for the outdoor area which we could not use the entire stay! There was no bathroom door!! You could basically touch the kitchen from the loo..Awful! How can you let guests stay in accommodation with no bathroom door?!! Shower leaks, dirty and stuffy due to no fresh air! Communication with host bad! Avoid!

Lovely place to stay, would and probably stay again

It was a good size apartment with everything you need. I’m a good position in old town not far from the beach, close to the local supermarket I use. It had a balcony with sun lounges which was ideal and also air conditioning. Bed was nice and didn’t smell of other people. Clean and tidy. Nicely laid out apartment.

A bit too close where my ex lives but she moves in November so hopefully further away from that spot. The pillows on the bed could have been better. The air conditioning over hangs the stairs so it could do with a deflector just for efficiency and economy but can make the apartment like a fridge if you want it that cold.

The location was fab. Set in old town Benidorm It allowed me to escape the hustle of the strip. The private terrace was like a haven. Spent a whole afternoon basking in peace in the sun

Worth every money

It is a modern apartment, comfortable with everything you need during your stay. Washing machine, oven, microwave and all facilities were so helpful. Also I could find a diswasher tablets which also was practical. Bed was comfortable. The balcon was stunning. The owner was very kind and helpful. The apartment is worth every money and makes you holiday special. Highly recommended! For sure I will come back

Was this the Spanish version of "Fawlty Towers"?!

Location was perfect. In a quiet street and easy walking distance to everything. The beds and towels, kitchen utensils and the bathroom looked and smelled clean.

Did not respond in a timely manner. I had to wait 6 days!! The answer then was straightforward gibberish in some sort of Google translate. In other words, they did not speak English as they state on the booking.com website. Two terrace doors were dysfunctional due to wrong installation. Both could not be closed. The floor in the room was dirtier than the street outside.

Poor standards but great location

Great location and big apartment

Access was time consuming and initially given the wrong apartment but friendly staff lady called Christine sorted this but did again have problems accessing correct apartment. The apartment could be great however clearly.not well maintained and the smell from shower each time you ran water was vile and stunk out the apartment. After first night I had to call the host who arranged a plumber to fix this and no cold water in kitchen plus a plug stuck in bathroom sink making it unusable. After arranging the.time 6pm (inconvenience while on holiday) plumber actually turned up at 9.45pm ruining my night. Resolved the plug and cold water issue but said would have to replace trap in shower next day - I never saw him again and the smell got worse and I couldnt use the shower and had to use a friends. Even using the sink or toilet was bad as had to deal with the smell while doing so. No sofa just a ikea table and chairs two of which were broken, a hob that didn't work, light switches that were broken, cushions as pillows, broken door on microwave, no kettle and a bright nightlight built into main light preventing darkness while sleeping completed the lack of comfort. Plus if you tried to plug anything into kitchen sockets, the electrics blew, presumably explaining lack of kettle. Outside the sunloungers had mouldy cushions and building wasn't clean in general particilarly bedroom walls complete with broken wobbly bedside shelves. Could have been so much better with simply and not very expensive repairs and maintenance together with a lounge area you could use. Great apartment location for old town and fantastic potential not being used. Value for money but with problems.

Could be great...but was very BAD!

Location was spot on, close to all amenities, right in the heart of great restaurant's and bars.

Door to building had a broken lock, when fixed, the key never worked so we were locked out. When in bed one night our neighbors had to bang on the door to be let in, not ideal at 3 am! Wife was very frightened, we thought we were about to be burgled! Shower never worked properly, the tray overflowed and flooded the floor so became very slippy. This must be on going for a while as the door and frame are wet and swollen. Blinds too short and let daylight in, no alarm needed. Patio looked very inviting for a morning coffee, sadly the patio door fell off the track and we had to leave open while out. Both door sagas continued for the 3 nights! Half roll of toilet tissue was not helpful, had to go and buy some, not that I mind, but I thought we would have had a spare roll!! Iron board was available, but you had to work out where the iron was, it is stashed under the bed....of course it is?? Lighting was interesting, to use the loo in the night.......you had to turn on the Big Light as they say up north!! Real shame as the apartment could have been so great. Great touch with the Coffee Machine, one of these using pods....alas only 1 pod. The only contact with owner was on WhatsApp, but we may have met them outside while the maintenance was attempting to fix the door, but they never let on who they were, I wonder why. The door needs replacing along with the lock casement, there is nothing left to screw a fix into, just a tip if the owner reads this review, I believe a few have commented on this door, it is not safe, and finally the stairs are an accident waiting to happen, the treads are slippy and sharp.

Room was nothing like in the pictures. There was cockroaches in the room. The washing machine didn't work. The front door handle kept falling off. The neighbours in the apartment was making so much noise at 7 in the morning every day we was there. There was a smell in the room that we couldn't get rid of and didn't know where it was coming from. The blinds on the door didn't go all the way down so people could see up from the street

Great location, modern, much better value than a small hotel room, easy self check in.

As someone who likes to sleep in a dark room it was particularly annoying that the blind isn’t long enough so lots of light comes in, the pillows were terrible and there was no shower curtain. All silly things that could easily be resolved to make it a much better experience.

No coat hangers ,although we asked has soon has we arrived not one single hanger so our clothes stayed in our suitcase for the 2 nites.. no wifi he went to get the code has we couldn't do the barcode ,the key in the outside door didn't work a nightmare when you've had a few vino's and ur fighting to get ur glasses on for the code ... plz make it easier. Very clean.and comfy but just not there ,blinds on windows not right measurements so we put towels up to block sunlight out early morning other than that ok .

Location was fantastic.

Check in. How I understood it was that we would be met at the property. This wasn’t the case. My husband received a WhatsApp with the address. We went in the front door ( which they sent a picture of ) only to find it was a building site. Turns out it’s actually the property next door. When we eventually worked this out we got to our room to find it was still being cleaned ( washing machine was still running). We were over an hour after we were scheduled to arrive so would have expected it to have been done. That said everything else was perfect.
